You certainly get a ton of credit here.

He’s been much better than I expected and proves me wrong almost each week. Happy to be wrong!

I do think Trevor has played a big part here though. He’s making everyone look better than they actually are.

You aren't wrong.
The Zay Jones raiders '21 tape is chock full of bad / uncatchable balls thrown at Zay from Carr.
Some of it on Carr, some of it on his line letting him down.
Either way - ZJ is seeing more catchable balls come his way this year and his stat line reflects that.

I'm just happy something I saw potentially working out well  - actually worked out well.
Doesn't happen often enough with this team.
Zaaaaayyyyyyy

Times 2!!!!
3 TDs
He just gets open.
Guy is actually turning out to be our best receiver (or at least close to it). Amazing game.
Zay/Ridley/Engram....good grief those are some weapons.

Don't forget Kirk!

Yeah...we can't afford all these lol. I do think back to the Colts though when they had Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, and Edgerrin James. Colts defense was generally terrible except for Dwight Freeney. I guess that is what you gotta do when you have a star QB. Overload on offense, and maybe at least one star defensive player.

That, or the Raiders stank out loud. Saw a tweet yesterday that Sunday he had more TD catches than he did in three years in the silver and black. Unreal.
I've been huge fan of Zay's since preseason. The dude just seems so cerebral and in touch with the Universe. I was really pulling for him to be good for us. I didn't realize he was going to be GREAT for us!!

Oh, and did ya'll see that video of him over at Trevors house last week?!?! Freakin' hilarioius! It's obvious Zay and Trevor have a tight relationship.
...and most people hated the signing.
Loving me some Zay. And Kirk and Ingram and Marvin . . . it's so nice to see people actually catch balls that are thrown to them. Last year was an utter nightmare.

I think we still are top 3 in the league in drops. Our recieving room is still league average. Adding ridley next year will help and hopefully we draft a rwciever in the first few rounds as well.

At this point I'm just comparing the Jags to what they've been in the past couple years, and it's just good to watch a team that can actually fight back and win against a good opponent, to see our receivers making some spectacular plays for a change. I had no expectations for hte Jags this year other than to hope they would get better. They have definitely delivered on that score.
If Zay continues on current form, Engram is re-signed and Ridley does sign. Do we need to draft a receiver early still? Makes sense to take one at some point but would you still use a high pick (particularly if the playoffs happens at the picks are a lot lower than usual!)

I still would. Sky is the limit for trevor and I think surrounding him with as much talent as possible is the correct course of action.
the funny thing is Zay is like 3 plays from having close to 850 yards and additional 3 TDs.
Zay is a borderline 1,000 yard guy this year. DId anyone seriouly think that before the season?
