That's something we haven't seen in a while. For once we are not obsessing over the draft

Holy Crap.  To be on the playoff board in mid December is a huge step for us.
We may need a Christmas '96 miracle, but there is some hope. We have to not lay an egg the rest of the way and probably run the table but we were buried last week.

That same Detroit team just put it on a 10-2 viking team

We all love to see that! In the hunt! Coach Pederson is going to come with some strategy all week and have the players ready locked and loaded next sunday. (Hopefully)
Also coach Caldwell respect to him, and the defense. KEEP IT GOING. On a side note, tlaw stats vs the titans were AMAZING. One last thing, let us hope that cisco comes back next game.

Let's go jags!
There are only 3 teams mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, which seems remarkable this deep into the season. Real parity for a change. The Texans, Bears and Broncos are the only eliminated teams.

It's starting to look like we won't be picking 2nd or 3rd.

@Do you doubt the savvy trading skills of Baalke?@

Finishing 3-1 the rest of the way just seems way too optimistic.  We run so hot and cold.  But still alive.

That last line is so true. The only thing we should expect is the unexpected, so I figure a loss to the tinhorns keeps us home in week 18.

I been wrong a bunch, would be happy to be wrong again Smile

I have to imagine we have in recent years, just under the "eliminated" column. We're usually one of the first on that list.
The way this season has gone, I expect to be in complete despair next week.

This is all I'm hoping for at this point.  I hate these smug mother [BLEEP] out here.  I was hoping so hard that the Texans won that game yesterday.  It would give me great joy to rub their noses in it...if only for a week.
I don’t think we do it. We’re still a young team with issues on playing consistently good football. These past three weeks are a great example; win over a strong Ravens team, get demolished by Detroit, annihilate Tennessee.

However in hindsight, the Lions may have just been an unexpected buzzsaw. They just beat the arguably second best team in the NFC. So it may have been a fluke.

I bet my savings that Pederson and company will be looking at that game tape. Houston frustrated them defensively until that final drive

The wife's kin who live there are coming here for Christmas. I NEED this win. NEED IT!!!!

They did some amazing things in TN, but also had their moments of looking really rough vs a banged up opponent.

I doubt that kind of turnover ratio bounces our way again this year.

Wingard needs to be playing.

Trayvon found success when he put his hands in the dirt.  That needs to continue.

Cisco and Jennings just need to keep in the game...

I think Lawrence can keep us in the game, but we are gonna needs our defensive play makers to keep playing to this level.  The question is whether or not they can.  Dallas only has CD Lamb as thier WR.  If we can hold him to 1 or 2 TDs and then stop the run like we did Yesterday...

Man, we have a chance.  But, this team is young and hasn't proven they can be consistent.  It's gonna be tough to call.  I want to see what he injury report looks like come Saturday...  Did Wingard practice?  Is Muma good?  etc...

I can't believe we're actually talking Jaguars football in December!!!  It's been so long...
Chances are slim. Not impossible. I don't see the Titans losing all 4 games. They lost 3 straight. They are likely to pull a win with the Texans and Cardinals.

I've seen some wild finishes. If the Jags somehow end up winning against the Cowboys and Titans lose next week, there is a reason to be excited for sure.
Guys, guys, Guys… the Jags, don’t do it; they choke when it counts…I’m not even gonna entertain the Jags possibly making the Playoffs, not gonna do it…

I hate the cowgirls and their fans. I hope Jerry considers selling the team after the spanking we put on them.

While you are not wrong I am choosing to keep hope alive. Yes its a slim chance but it is a chance.
To think we'd be in the thick of things if we just finished off one of those stupid games that we lost.  Denver in London,  Houston,  at Indy, at Washington, Giants.
