Is the team showing up today or are we going to hope for a turnover spree miracle that Tennessee gave us?
My biggest concern is the Dallas pass rush.

They put on an awesome display against the Vikings.

I think we've got to get production from the running game and slow down that pass rush. We've got to stay on schedule/ahead of schedule in terms of down and distance situations.

If we can do that and control the ball we stand a chance.
Oloukun leads the league in solo tackles. Dude is a stud

Agreed. Hoping to see twin TE packages today just for this reason. Need the extra blockers, extra chips and ability to screen or sell out a play action shot or two.
mix it up. Can't have Trev dropping back all game long and getting pass happy. He will get killed.

The team could show up and still lose. Cowboys are very good

His mission is to seek and destroy today. Pollard has to be kept at bay as does Elliot. My concern is when Pollard motions out wide. He can kill you in the passing game. Think Hasty, just more involved and consistent. They use Pollard very strategically. This will probably be the game where they try to get him involved more in the passing game with the issues Prescott has had with Lamb in the crossing routes.

He came up clutch in week two against the Bengals, absolutely scorched the Vikings in week eleven and he had a TD catch against the tinhorns last week. You have to be on the lookout for this if you're Caldwell. Muma has to be on his A game today. If he gets caught playing peek-a-boo once? He's toast.
Dallas is one of the better teams we've played with a great Defense and a pretty dangerous WR group and a competent QB...

This is gonna be a very tough game to win. I hope we can pull it out. But more than that, if we can just look like we belong with this team, that would be great. Also the flaming tacks must lose. Or I will be mildly upset

If you can't run it, you have to supplement it. Again, third time bringing it up in this thread but they MUST get all three TE's involved today. Engram will be a focal point for them defensively but Arnold and Manhertz are going to have to help out at some point in this game. We saw it a few times earlier this year but there's a specific roll out play to the right that typically sees Arnold wide open for a nice chunk gain. That needs to happen today to ensure we get some field position in our favor.

Would like to see Manhertz chipping on Parsons or motioning in and out of the backfield to act as a lead blocker for Etienne or be a safety blanket in the flats. Just want to see this offense get off to a fast start, set the tone. If we win the coin toss I would honestly rather let our defense go out there first. Our team plays better offensively in the second half anyway.

Would like to see Conner get at least four to five carries in this game as well.

They have so many guys who can get to the QB. They are all very athletic and can rush from many different positions.

Now I will say one of our strengths this year is we've rarely had many 3 and outs. We've done a pretty good job staying in good down and distance. That needs to continue.

Dallas is down two CBs. Their subs will need to be exploited.

Reminds me of Posluszny
According to my game program, Dallas is third best overall D in the league, 2nd best against the pass and 23rd against the run.

Sounds like we need ETN and Hasty primed today.
I have a good feeling about today fellas

I don't remember his exact words but Lageman was saying on the thursday radio show that he thinks the cowboys interior on the dline isn't special.  That may be where we need to attack with the run.
Dewey on the field warming up. Just watched Zay Jones make a one handed catch. He just reached up and snatched it out of the air.

Yep. Conner as well. Telling you man. This is the game where you want to see a lot of that old TE stuff and backfield stuff that Pederson did with the Eagles. Twin TE sets, motion in and out of the backfield, bootlegs, etc. They're thin in the secondary. You have to get Parsons moving away from the LOS and your safest bet to do that is by loading that line up with guys that can block you or beat you for a catch.

I want to see some new looks in this one. Give me some Wing-T, some H-Back, hell, let's throw some Wildcat in there with Kirk taking the snap with Agnew, Hasty and Etienne split outside or running jets, etc. It's time to throw some curve balls out there.

On the radio this morning they were discussing if Pederson was going to make some creative play calls today.
