They only need one plan - Just win baby, just win
I got the opt-in confirmation e-mail on Friday 12/23 and 2 emails today regarding the sale of them. Looks like pre-sale Thursday and then on-sale on Friday.
I sent an email to my ticket rep and he replied that I am opted in for playoff priority, yet I received no previous email.

Sounds like you’re good but I can forward you the email(s) if you would like.

No need but I appreciate the offer. I asked him if there is anything I need to do now. If anything, he knows I want my seats in the event we make the post season.

You can usually opt in at the start of the year, then pay extra to cover them all year or wait and pay at the end.

(12-23-2022, 11:18 AM)rfc17 Wrote: [ -> ]A lot.  For starters, you need either the Dolphins or Chargers to lose out.  Dolphins are probably the most likely looking at both of their schedules.  But then you need to make sure the Jets, Patriots, or any other team not making it to 9 wins.  The most reasonable scenario I have found is this...

week 16
Dolphins lose to Packers
Patriots lose to Bengals
Jets have already lost to us

week 17
Dolphins lose to Patriots
Jets lose to Seahawks

week 18
Patriots lose to Bills
Dolphins lose to Jets

We'd also need the Raiders, Browns, and Steelers to lose at least one more game over the next 3 weeks.  This part of it seems very likely.

All of a sudden this scenario looks more realistic. I thought the Dolphins losing at home to the packers was one of the least likely outcomes. Still don't think it'll happen but don't mind having multiple options

Looking real realistic now as the Dolphins lose to the Patriots I'll be watching this Jets game
You can almost guarantee a Patriots loss to buffalo... Buffalo won't be sitting starters and then hope for a Jets win against Miami.... I believe we win next week but nothing wrong with looking for a backup plan it would be destiny if we had the option to clinch a wild card spot also
Yeah knowing we have a wildcard spot either way would be huge.

Jets need to win and Dolphins may have their 3rd QB playing. I don't see how Tua could be allowed to play with his 3rd concussion.

May depend on if they play before or after the Jags. They only get in if the Jags win.

Jets are actually eliminated with a loss today now, so next week would just be for pride to keep Miami out.

Seattle currently up two touchdowns against Jets.

Don't love the odds of Jets beating Miami. And pittsburgh could easily sneak into the playoffs. figuring out ways to win lately.

I don't see Pittsburgh winning the last two games the question is can the Jets beat Miami next week

The Jets will be eliminated so it really should come down to them wanting to eliminate Miami. Miami may also be playing their 3rd QB so who knows. The Bills will be playing for seeding and a loss could move them to 3 if they lose out or #2 if they lose 1 and Chiefs win.

There are a lot of impact games for the NFL and they don't have enough national game windows with all the games. Good thing for the Jags is most of the things they need to happen, the top teams should be playing to win.

The Seahawks just won and, the Jets are officially eliminated from playoff contention.
That twitter list is very plausible for our 7th seed hopes. Miami is done, stick a form in them. The NYJ will beat them and I don't see Baltimore losing to PIT and CLE/PIT has been closer lately than usual. I could see us sneaking in, but I like our odds of stealing a win in Wild Card Weekend as the home team vs say, Baltimore vs having to go to Cincy/KC/Buffalo. We'd surely be 1 and done with the 7th seed scenario, I don't think our defense can handle top flight QBs.

The dominos are lining up nicely.  But maybe our defense has turned a corner, we've had 3 TD-less games, just had two back to back 3-point games.  Hard to say it's a weakness right now.
If Jags win the division, it's the Ravens/Bengals or Chargers. Charges have the easiest path to the #5 seed. They have to beat the Broncos. The Ravens have to win out or they are the #6. If the Ravens win out they are the #3 seed. The Bengals could lose out and finish as the #5 or 6 seed depending on what the Chargers do.

Not sure which team I would prefer but probably not the Bengals.

As far as we are concerned, all we need now is:

Browns beat Steelers
Jets beach fins
Bills beat Pats

Little bit of an ask but Cleveland I could see, depending on seeding Bills definitely is a reality.. If Tua goes vs the Jets I don't see them losing that game. We would either get Buffalo or KC depending on how MNF goes tomorrow, I'd love to see the Bills/Jags because I don't think we stand a chance vs KC or Cincy this year. All of this ofc is under the assumption we lose Saturday night.
