Chargers head coach catching a little bit of heat for playing Williams in a “meaningless” game, and he ends up getting hurt and unable to play in the play off game.

You must not think hes very good on the outside either because he got cooked last year on the outside in the first half of the season as well before he started to turn the corner.  That post is from a month and a half ago.  He has a low snap count from the slot because he's not a nickle corner and he's usually covering the teams best WR which is usually on the outside but at times they have him mirroring the teams best WR like he did a lot in the Raiders game when he mirrored Adams at times when playing man and would follow him into the slot.  They have done it in some other games as well.  Campbell has excelled regardless of where he lined up.  Hopefully in important plays he follows Allen into the slot if we are playing man
He didn’t mirror Adams in the slot though. Only on the outside.

I’m 100% fine having Campbell shadow him on the outside but not the slot.
No Williams is good.

Just gotta shift help toward wherever Allen lines up and let Darious stick to Palmer.

They are not going to shadow him to the slot with Campbell though. They'll just send safety help on brackets and doubles.

He's shadowed a few WRs into the slot and I have even mentioned it in the game day thread.  You just posted he was lined up 30 times in the slot and that was over a month ago.  I definitely want Campbell in the slot on Allen on a crucial play when in man coverage.
I think we exploit the Chargers oline. Josh Allen, Key, and Walker are just starting to warm up and they feed off the crowd. Can't wait
How are we the under dog in this game? I guess Week 3 didn't happen?

I don't know but you know it has the Dogs on this team really pissed off. Disrespect is fuel to these young mens fires. I know DougyP is fanning those flames. By tomorrow night they will be a full blown raging inferno.
Are we underdogs truly though? A 2.5 line is basically a “throw a dart” pick right?
I'm used to being the underdog...charger fans are saying dumb stuff like the Jags don't have many fans  Wallbash

this afternoon I got some great news.

My son is flying in from New Orleans and has game tickets for us.
The last time he and I went to a game together it was the clots with a guy named Manning!
and the Jags won!  Banana
The faces of the clots fans were priceless!

Good times!

What are brackets and doubles? Legit asking.

That's great news! Enjoy!!
I think the Chargers match up better against KC but I think we match up better against the Chargers.
Still can’t believe we made the Playoffs. What a fun season!

LFG!!
I love it when Jags are the undercats in a game.  team does better when they are not favored.   thats 96% of the tiem too.
I'm nervous as crap but also confident lol, if that makes sense.
Feels so odd. Fans are normally talking draft in mid October with the Jaguars. This team is still Superbowl Contenders. Just wild!
Not as nervous about this game as last week. I figure we're playing with house money at this point but still would be great to make it to the next round. Let's go Jags!

This week like last week should be a win. At home against banged up teams, playoff teams win those games. All of the wildcard teams have a lot of health issues this year.

Next week would be house money and just enjoy being there for fans.

I think we probably should win but in the playoffs, it's a whole other level.

What are brackets and doubles? Legit asking.

The bracket is when a defender plays underneath the receiver while a safety sits above him, "bracketing" him between the two. It's usually a zone look. Double is when you play man with one guy and have a safety roll towards the receiver so that there's a second guy covering him after around 10 yards. Both looks are designed to help the CB and neutralize that 1 player.
