ON offense, I love to see Walker Little becoming a strong point. If we can't resign Jawan Taylor, I have confidence with Robinson/Little going forward. Kirk has been an allstar for us.
Defense
No Surprise Josh Allen played maybe the best game of his career. The whole defensive line ate!

All goes to show that stats don't tell the whole story.
Rayshawn Jenkins, despite getting trucked by Derrick Henry, has made 3 of the biggest plays of the Jags season since the Dallas game.
PFF analysts are definitely seeing what I'm seeing from Fortner.
I think they are going to need a contingency plan for him next year if he doesn't step up.
On the other side of the ball, Corey Peters had a big night and Darious Williams is thriving on the outside.
Interior of the line got whipped vs the titans . Hopefully they hold up better this week.

Yes they did, they have a much easier task this week.
i don't dissect the Film but why if Fortner so low every week? Trevor just bailing him out or is he blowing blocks all the time?

The entire interior line has been bad for most of the season, part of it might be injury, but they also either aren't communicating or they're using really bad positioning and getting beat. Go watch Uche Nwaneri's videos from earlier in the season, he points out a lot of the failings.
I want to also point out that Walker played okay, though.
The tackle for loss on Henry at about 14:00 left in the fourth quarter was great. Henry should have gotten flagged for hands to the face on the play, too, which he seems to commit on every run if he gets the chance, but Walker swallowed him up and Henry had no shot in spite of attempting to drive Walker's head back by the chin.
What's the gi with lloyd recently

I'll be seeing how Sedrick Van Pran from Georgia does tonight. He's one of the top centers in the draft and is very capable of playing guard. He'd be a great pick in round 3.

Take a look at Luke Wypler from Ohio St. when you get a chance at Center. Would probably be worth a 4th RD investment. Fortner needs to get stronger in the off season.

He's a rookie. He'll be better next year.
What in the world has happened to Devin Lloyd?? With his talent, how can he have played this poorly this year?
In fortners defense, those are some grown men!
Josh Allen is ON ONE!

Maybe he's not that talented and was just a bad draft choice?

Been wondering this all season. I thought part of the reason he was highly rated was he was football smarts. I get that he missed most of pre-season, but he was still there in OTA's and he has had all season to learn the system. It really doesn't make sense why he still needs help getting lined up all the time.
Obviously the draft capital and all, you hope he can pan out next season.
If he is in the game, I think they should use him more to blitz/simulated pressure. He has been very slow to identify run gaps/fits and he gets too confused on switching off players in the zone schemes.

This would makes sense if either them could move over to guard in a pinch, for versatility sake.

I remember O-Line matters blowing a gasket when we picked Fortner. Fortner was the one center he did not want us to select. Seems he was correct on this one. This year. Many of the big guys take a year sometimes 2 to get stout enough. Guess we will see,
Surprised to see Oluokun and Cisco rate so low.
Every time I hear Boselli talk about Fortner he seems to rave about him.

They both can. Wypler can play Guard and Center. I think he would be a good fit. He's especially good in run blocking.

It's fair. Boselli is looking at it from the perspective of:
A. He's a rookie
B. He's handling the line calls and adjustments
Fortner just needs to get stronger. I think the speed will slow down a bit for him going into this season coming up but he's going to have to get stronger. He gets bulldozed back quite a bit from what I have seen.
Also, in fairness to Fortner. He's had different guys line up to him now on his left side throughout the year. Between Bartch, Little and Robinson. It's too easy to throw everything at him and put too much fault on him.
We knew that position was going to be tough to figure out in a pinch because Linder retired on March 28th. Which was pretty [BLEEP] if you think about it because free agency started on March 16th. That took two weeks away from this team heavily looking into that position veteran wise.

I don’t know how PFF grades LB but it seemed like every time I Oluokon was supposed to be covering the TE he was open.
