Well this is as tough as a challenge in the NFL. Chiefs at Arrowhead in the playoffs. Great challenge and experience for the team and if this season has taught me anything, never count this team out.

We have to try and take Kelce away. A lot easier said than done but let them beat us with Toney and Juju, just limit Kelce. Got to try and stop Chris Jones too. Guy is a beast and gamewrecker. Double teams, chipping, running the other side to where he's lined up, just make it difficult for him and keep Mahomes in the pocket. He can hurt you pretty much anyway but can't let him take off. Allen and Trayvon have to be disciplined with with the edges and not let him take off.

I can see a game where the Chiefs score early and go in at the half around 17-7. Chiefs add a FG and start to ease off, Lawrence pulls us back to 20-14 then a huge turnover from the D. We make it 21-20 and Butker misses the winning FG. Well I hope anyway.
We are the big underdog again and this is quite fine by me.

Will be a tough atmosphere, but we just have to believe in the guys and they have to believe in each other. We can beat them.

Can't wait till Saturday gets here!
Let’s go JJ’s. It’s time to shock the world!
Just do whatever the Tacks did to shut down Majomes and protect 16.
Chris Jones. Worries me more than Mahone.

We'll need to score more than 25 points to win, and if we don't it'll be because we didn't block Chris Jones and the rest of that DLine.
Any given Saturday……
I predict Dan Arnold with a big play against the Chiefs.

a.  Please edit your f-bomb reference so as not to incur a warning for profanity filter avoidance

b. They can't just  go "bombs away" or they'l get TL killed, but they can take shots judiciously when they get the looks they want.
You don't need time for bombs if they are covering the short routes. You just throw it deep before the safety has a chance to get over there and have a 1 on 1 play for the ball.

The final score of our week 10 vs. the Chiefs was 27-17. We missed 2 field goals, and Cam Robinson's ineligible man down field (4 yards at the endzone) erased a touchdown. Had we scored on both field goals and got a touchdown instead of being penalized we would have been tied with the Chiefs. If we execute our game plan, we are in this game!

Yep, as bad as the game looked, the Jags were still in it.

Hopefully Doug is ready for whatever they bring since they had the bye week. Then whoever makes the defensive adjustments needs to not wait until after halftime to make them.

Any given Sunday. I’ll hold on to that notion. It’s going to be tough. They’re huge underdogs and I totally understand it. They’ll have to play a full 60:00. This first half/second half thing won’t cut it this time. Can’t wait to see what the boy bring the chiefs. Either way, I got waay more out of this season I ever thought I would. House money, give ‘em hell boys!

  • Doug Pederson vs his mentor Andy Reid - Reid has won both prior matchups - does student become master?
  • Kelce vs Jenkins/Herndon/Jags LBs  - be afraid
  • Mahomes (do I need to elaborate?)
  • Chris Jones vs Fortner, Shatley and a banged up Scherff - again - be concerned here and other chefs' DL guys rush well too
  • Jags scrap patrol defense - can this scrappy unit find away to force turnovers like they did in weeks 14-18?
  • Jags run game - would be nice to establish it early - chew clock - and take advantage of a team giving up 4.4 per carry early in case we must resort to more passing in a comeback effort later
  • Jags pass game - TL will be under pressure quickly most drop backs. Gotta ID the right guy quickly and get the ball out. They don't have the horses in secondary to cover all of our weapons, but they will pressure the QB. Should hit the short and intermediate stuff on second downs where they struggle this year in order to move chains.

1.  We MUST find a way to get Chris Jones blocked.  He was a one man wrecking crew the last game we played, and was a big reason we couldn't take advantage of the opportunities presented in that game.

2.  Offensively, I'm also concerned they could take a page out of the Chargers approach and call for very tight coverage, cheating on the underneath crossing routes.  I would hope we attack deep sometimes early in the first quarter to keep them out of that.

3.  Our defense seems to have stabilized since that game.Darious Williams seems to have setttled in outside at starting CB.  Walker seems to be improving.  So does Lloyd, as he's started/gotten more PT early the last two weeks.  We also seems to have gotten a better pass rush as the season has worn on.  Hopefully all of this continues this coming Saturday.  We've got to clow them down.
We have Tirico and Collinsworth calling our game Saturday.

I despise Collinsworth.

this right here.

My biggest worry of the game, though it seems that the flat/short yardage routes with TE are the ones that eat up our defense. Hopefully they aren't putting Allen on him!
Hopefuly  Chiefs come out a little rusty from thier bye week, and we are able to jump ahead, and then keep the lead.

This. Let's catch them napping in the 1st half. Run some trickery and get a solid 17+ point lead on them.

Love your new pic Wolfie
Early forecasts say chance for rain, 6-7 mph winds so lets all hope Trevor brings his good hands Saturday.

Been looking for this. They ran a few plays during the regular season that were in his favor. With the slant route going left to right with Lawrence running a bootleg in that direction. They also had a few decent TE screens up the middle to him.
