Was trying to convince the wife to go see Tool with me..
The whole thing. Thursday - Sunday. Will be my third time seeing Tool. Excited about that. Taking my wife with me hopefully as well as long the grandparents are cool with watching the little man. Should be fun though.
You guys might enjoy an homage to hair metal. Weezer released a record called Van Weezer recently. It's a fun mashup of their style against the heavy riffs of the 80s.

Me and the wife can either go see Tool, or we can head down to The Keys after spring break..
Tool is one of my favorite bands, but honestly, I'd rather do a long weekend at Mile Marker 0 lol
One day I'll finally see Tool in concert.. Definitely a bucket list thing.

Weezer is such an underrated and underappreciated band IMHO. I saw their video or cover of Ah-Ha's "Take on Me" awhile back. Really dig it.

Got a mate who works at a museum over here and I believe Jimmy Page is due to turn up to an exhibition they have on. Word was he'd had to cancel the original date due to Jeff Becks funeral.
Seventies man myself, like a wide range of stuff but in recent years I find myself veering between a lot of Zeppelin especially live from 69ish to 73' and classical music ... Although when summer rolls round i listen to a fair bit of skynyrd, nobody ever wrote a better sunshine song than 'Alabama' and 'Curtis Loew', 'things goin on' and 'am I losin' are hugely underrated ... Saw them 3/4 years ago in Glasgow ... Not exactly one seeing them in Atlanta in 71' but I was pleased i went and saw Rossington play all the same!

Triumph was awesome in concert. They were all about the music. Rik Emmett was amazing to watch, and hear, switching back and forth without missing a beat on a double neck guitar.
There's literally a thousand songs I could post, and the top 100 would be hard to whittle down.
Plenty of usual suspects, including the Who, Rush, Stones, Boston, Bad Company, Judas Priest, Zeppelin, Cheap Trick, Genesis, Blue Oyster Cult, Styx, Kansas, Van Halen, Yes, AC/DC, Heart, Aerosmith, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Lynnrd Skynnrd, Traffic, Santana, Clapton (and every band he's been in), Deep Purple, Queen, Rainbow, Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Zevon, ABBA (yes I went there), Stevie Wonder, ZZ top and I haven't even left the 70s yet. That's 30 off the top of my head.

It always comes back to Zeppelin for me. There are 7 or 8 tracks from various albums that still sound like magic after all these years.
However - this is a good thread to revisit some of those acts that sometime get lost in the shuffle.
