Yeah ... The first lp with a change is gonna come on it was excellent ... We were looking to see If they were touring last year but ticket prices were extortionate.
If you like them Wolfmother were/are an Australian band and very very similar, the lead singer has played with quite a few people including Slash. The Music are a step further towards dance and Louis XVI were closer towards kings of Leon (before they sold out)
I like this thread. That’s all.

Prince knew quality when he saw it.
Wouldn't call them "classic rock" (yet), but any Incubus fans in here? I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately. I never realized how good they were back in the day.

Yes, Make Yourself and Morning View are both no-skip albums that I still have in my rotation.
The one radio hit from those, Drive, is good don't get me wrong, but it's a really quiet arrangement compared to their typical stuff.

Superb effort .... Doesn't make me feel any better about my own limited musicianship though
Not the same instrument or perhaps style but if I may be allowed to be quick on the reposte and offer a classic from a similar instrumental vein...

That dude Jake is coming to The Ponte Vedra Concert Center next month. The wife and I might check it out.
Always liked Going to California. Great rendition!
Ah well in that case i hope you enjoy it fella ... He certainly looks a talented soul.
Haven't seen much live recently myself except for the peat and diesel... Not sure how ticketing is going over there these days but the cost of live music has simply soared in the last ten years over here. Unless you get artists on the way up the costs have become hugely prohibitive. Live music becoming very much a rich mans game unfortunately.
Much like Jake's video, this is another personal favorite of mine. Ngl, probably watched this video close to 20 times and I still get awestruck..
This is what true skill looks like. Danny Carey from Tool. If you haven't seen this video yet, you're welcome!
If you have seen this video, you already understand the awesomeness of it..
Enjoy!
