Either we have terrible pilots who can't hit a slow moving balloon or perhaps these "balloons" are making evasive maneuvers to avoid our missiles. What seems more likely?

Or, it’s because they’re using heat seeking missiles on an object which produces no heat. I can only surmise the balloons develop a heat signature from absorbing solar energy, but that may not be enough every time.

If they are balloons, why are we wasting taxpayer dollars shooting them down with heat seeking missiles? Wouldn't a couple of hillbillies with deer rifles in a crop dusting plane be a lot more economical?

Not at 60,000 feet. That’s almost twice as high as airliners cruise and is at the ceiling limit of most fighter jets. Plus, this gives pilots opportunity to do a missile shoot. Something they don’t get to do very often.

This morning it sounds like the last three are some kind of well known data balloons? Maybe we over reacted to everything in the sky after the Chinese spy balloon? That's pretty embarrassing if true.
I would like more information about what these three objects are. Hopefully we get some here real soon. Even though we know the government likes to keep everything a secret no matter what administration is in the White House.

Or gender reveals are getting out of hand.

Physics.. Makes sense.
It had a rudder and propeller, according to this.

In other words. Typical MSM/Government tag team effort being made to fear porn people into a frenzy. There's no grey alien's waiting to takeover. At least not yet.
