I see Davis Tull was included in the Saints final cuts. I know he was a guy that me and a few others were high on in the 2015 draft as a potential OTTO candidate. With Ryan Davis getting cut I could possibly envision some interest from Caldwell.

Along with the obvious Mark Sanchez cut the Broncos also released Ronnie Hillman, who was #3 on the depth chart after they drafted DeVante Booker out of Utah.

A developmental league for the NFL is far over due. It would open the door to players to get some experience and even for non collegiate players to have a real shot.

I was surprised someone reported this and am waiting for something official. Just a scrolling bottom line on TV is the only thing I ever saw about it and ESPN often makes stuff up. It is obviously not true if no NFL Insiders or other credible sources back up the story and John Elway denies an ESPN report. It was not told by a well-known guy whose job is to know everything about the NFL.
