I was making reference to my observations of that QB class, the one I paid the absolute most attention to pre-draft because well, it was quite obvious we were going to get one of these guys about midway through that season.
There wasn't nothing to be "called on" simply stated that was one of my reasons for being somewhat skeptical of Trevor before he got here, and was my main concern for Zach Wilson because what I thought could be an on and off issue for Trevor was something ZW struggled with on a weekly basis against sub par talent.
So then you state the first sentence in your post to keep the conversation about Wilson, and your proficiency at prognostication. You leave the second sentence out, and not a word is mentioned of your past attempts to harbinger doom.
Again, it was your choice to introduce your past conflict with virtually the entire board, and it was your statement that brought the heat back on ya.
Everybody was critical of Simms and that darftdiamond dude for seeking clicks with their poor attempts to advocate Wilson as the top QB in that class. If you thought Wilson was going to stink out loud, that's not really anything magnanimous, dude.

Yep. The pro game got too big for him pretty quick and he hasn’t figured out how to evolve. Regardless of physical talents, it all comes down to what’s between the ears.
With that said, I’m curious to see how Brock Purdy holds up this season. He’s a great story.

Add onto the fact that he played on a team with a top 5 Defense and top 5 Rushing attack. I mean, they beat the Bills with Jones only throwing the ball 2 times in the entire game and they came in the final minutes of the game when it was basically over.
Put Trevor on that team his rookie year and they likely win 14 games. They were able to carry Mac to 10 wins that year. And we really don't even need to bring up the coaching differences.

The initial take again was made on him, when everyone assumed he was going to the jets. All i said originally was i thought the generational talent/comparisions to luck were wild considering he had inaccuracy issues and wasnt great under pressure (situational pressure, not pass rush) and thought his decision making was pretty sloppy. Combined with me calling out his bad play throughout his rookie season.
But somehow it got twisted, because i was then told that i thought he was a bust? Never said that. I was told i didnt want to draft him over mac jones LOL i made a thread the day we drafted him still on my profile, i woulda taken him at 1 aswell. Regardless of the obvious over comparisons to luck or manning i still thought he was the best qb in that class, of course my takes on the other qbs not being worth a damn are never mentioned. When we had the #2 pick i said id rather take the wr or kyle pitts than zach wilson.. never hear that take mentioned
But it is what it is. Fans being oversensitive on this board towards first round qbs is nothing new, we had plenty of Bortles fanboys too who didnt like what i said about him either pre draft.
