After reflecting on the bowl games this weekend, I really think it would be best for college football if they put Georgia over Washington. I mean, think about it. The Pac-12 sucks. Washington almost choked it away vs Texas, who plays in the Big 12. Those conferences aren't the SEC (which we all know is the best conference). Look at what GA just did to FSU in their bowl game. GA has only lost once in the last 29 games. Let's take out the winning team and put in the "best" team for the most important game of the year. You know... for the fans.

Oh yea baby.
Let's take it one step further. Let's just not play any games at all! Just go ahead and let the committee pick who they think are the 2 best teams in college football in September. Then those two teams play for the national championship! Then all other "obviously not meaningless games" be a fun bowl game like Pop Tarts and Cheez its!
The 12 team playoff cant get here fast enough.

Georgia in over Texas? Sure. Georgia in over Washington? Hell no.

Sorry, I don't debate with stupidity. If you want to say that's your opinion, that's cool. But, there's tons and tons of actual professional College Football analysts whom do this stuff for a living that disagree with you, and they have no affiliation to FSU (Including players from other teams)..
I'd rather accept their opinion.
You do know that the college football analyst most consider the best, Kirk Herbstreit, said before the Final 4 was announced it should be Michigan, Wash, Texas, and Bama, right? Yeah, I know a lot disagree with me. A lot disagree with you, too. It is what it is.
I don't want to get into a name-calling war. It's not my thing. I like Mike Norvell and a part of me wishes FSU did get in over Bama because I hate Bama with a passion. But I just thought Bama was a better team than FSU without Travis. I do think FSU had a good argument being in over Texas, and if I had a vote, I'd probably go Michigan, Wash, Bama, FSU, but that's just me. Next year the issue is moot, unless we're going to argue who should be in...#12 Okla St or #13 Duke. I just hope one of my two teams, Navy or Notre Dame, can make the top 12. Well, ND prolly can. Navy can't even make a damn bowl game anymore.
Hey at least Bama went toe to toe with Michigan. Maybe the teams that didn’t belong were Washington and Texas. Michigan absolutely dominating the Huskies.
Michigan looks more physical for sure.

McCarthy not a good thrower of the ball.
The team I think is MOST like FSU this year is Michigan. It sucks they didn't get a shot.
Odunze getting held and touched well downfield. Johnson not even playing the ball on that last one.

That just sounds wrong!

I totally agree about FSU. I'll never forget the 1987 Fiesta Bowl where Penn State defeated Miami. The Hurricanes were loaded with talent and lead by Heisman winner Vinny Testaverde. Very few experts gave Penn State, lead by no-name quarterback John Shaffer, a chance to win. Penn State won that game due to their tough and scrappy defense which had the Miami receivers fearful due to all the big shots they were taking. FSU deserved the chance to prove to the skeptics that they could repeat what PSU did 37 years ago. Unfortunately, they never got the chance and were then unfairly ridiculed for sitting out the game against Georgia. How could anyone have blamed them?
I don't get the Penix hype.
Michigan officially welcoming Washington to the Big 10.
Way too many dropped passes by Washington receivers tonight and their RT #73 is a [BLEEP] bum. He might have cost them this game alone with all of his false starts and holding penalties.

Try watching more than just one game.
Look, I'm no expert on football. Take my opinions with a grain of salt. His arm looks weak. That was the knock on Brady, and he was great. I wouldn't be money on it. That said, I didn't see any of his throws in either playoff game that looked like he had a strong arm.
