Press 100% needs to lose play-calling responsibilities.

Disagree.

We were ready, but we blew a lot of opportunities.

That's the thing though, we need to convert those opportunities like great teams do.

We're right on the cusp but so far we have been shooting ourselves in the foot via playcalling, lack of execution, and bad O-line play.

The coaches on offense lost this.  The players on offense I think were capable.  But when you have a coordinator that has no feel for the game, you get this [BLEEP] show.  9 points when we have Zay Jones, Engram, Kirk, and a true #1 in Ridley?

This is all on the coaching staff.  It's embarrasing.  People really need hold this HC and his offensive coordinator's feet to the fire.  This was just a terrible coaching job.

That many blown opportunities kinda tells you they weren't ready... lol. They're close. Defense is where it needs to be. They're good enough. The offense is not, for some reason. Maybe it's the OL simply not being healthy. But they need to figure it out fast.

Well, the last one is true anyway.

I'm glad that makes you feel better for 15 seconds.. next time try getting someone that can call plays, and having a QB that can execute them

Oh for deity's sake, this isn't an airport, you don't need to announce your departure. Just don't come back mid-season when things are going good if you can't handle losing a football game in week [BLEEP] 2.

With countless opportunities to take control of the game, the Jags, overall, continually laid an egg.

With the game on the line, Patrick Mahomes and Skyy Moore came through.

That's the difference between good teams and Super Bowl winning teams. Jags just not there yet. But it's a long season, they can still work out their kinks.

And then have to stop them and still score a TD.

Going for it there was the right call.

If we don't get the 2pt we can at least try to win on a FG instead of a TD.

If you go for it and make it you still have to score on the 2 pt conversion just to tie. Then you still need a stop to win. A FG + a TD is easier than a TD + a two point conversion + a FG.

Plus a FG from that distance is more or less a sure thing. Converting on 4th down was a long shot,
What a horrendous game, bad vibes man...

Maybe we see them again when it really matters.

TL makes any of those EZ throw earlier we have two TDs.
Chiefs fans quickly climbing my list of obnoxious and annoying fans.

to say this team is terrible is ridiculous.  Dude, we have as much talent, if not more than this KC team.  Our coaching staff just absolutely [BLEEP] up.  Pederson needs to apologize to his players after this game.  He and his buddy Press completely screwed over this game.

You don't need a TD, a 2-pt conversion, AND a FG.

If we got the TD and didn't get the 2-pt conversion we could still win with a FG.

If we got the 2-pt conversion we at least prevent the clock run out.

The offensive coaches didn't make zay not drag his feet.... twice. They also didn't make trevor throw incomplete laterals.... twice. Or overthrow Zay on an easy TD pass, or Ridley play so close to the back line on 2 separate potential TD plays. Lots of players not executing issues today. It wasn't coaching, it was players not executing like they should.

You can’t be ready and blow your chances….. that makes no sense
Lot of blame to go around today.

For me, that's what this year will be about. We've learnt how to turn L's into W's but it's in these big games, playoff games where mistakes kill you and execution is the difference. Its about us getting sharper, more confident and developing that killer instinct.

It's still real early and we've got a long way to go. If we still look like this at the end of November then I'll be worried.

I think we will learn and this team will be better for it come January
Frustrating game
Should have taken the field goal again on that last possession, I was pleading for it... well we still aren't "there". Not to say this bunch can't figure it out and get there but this was pathetic.
