For a 3rd or 4th?  Heck no

I'll take it with a grain of salt, but if he went to Arizona, I could see that being a situation where he actually thrives and becomes a beast that he has the potential to be under Arians. This would be painful to watch if it turns out that way.

agreed
What a bs article. They are saying this is a rumor because Pro Football Focus suggested this trade in an article where they made up draft day trade scenarios that they thought would be mutually beneficial. This has not been rumored at all, instead just made up by some PFF writers. I'd completely disregard this. Blake will be out starter going into next year, get over it.
This isn't a rumor. If you read the original article, the author makes no claim as to this being a rumor. The author states it's not based on any inside info. He is just speculating based on what he thinks are good fits.

Why do people keep posting articles from these bogus sports sites that do nothing more than misrepresent an actual article.

The mods need to delete this thread which is referencing nothing more than a false article on a clickbait site.

Oh, what wit.

I think there should be a minimum IQ requirement before starting a thread.

I've got a good test. How about at least being smart enough to at least use the quote function correctly.

I understand the frustration with the thread, but don't be a jerk. Some of you guys take this board way to seriously, and personally. There's no reason to attack someones intelligence for starting what you perceive a "dumb thread", everyone on this board is different and there are different football acumens. Treat people like you want to be treated and be a person that shares knowledge and information, instead of someone who belittles others.

Well said, I actually rarely post things on the board. Also, this link was shared with me by a cardinals fan whom believes could actually happen. In my mind, I realize this is a little far fetched. The main purpose behind this post was to get a unified response against a energized and excited cardinals fanbase about believing in this move. I don't want to waste my time writing long and lengthy posts, but to read other jags fans ideas....Instead, I get backlash and hate. Posters seeking to troll and belittle others to spread a spiteful message. Additionally, I understand that title / topic wording is a little vague. However, I do not post things for attention, but to get discussions. I wanted to share some responses with several cardinal fans to show them they are in the wrong, because I believe that's what the forum is for; bouncing ideas off each other. You would think we have 6 Super Bowl rings and fans pouring in the stadium the way some people respond to each other on here. Only in Jacksonville I guess
It wouldn't surprise me if it is true to an extent. This tweet is from May 11th 2014. Right after the draft.

Yeah I was just thinking about this, seems plausible outside of the fact that first round compensation would be required for this move to workout. It makes no sense whatsoever that the compensation would be a third rounder. A compensatory pick next season would garnish us a third so why would we act so hastily? There's no QB in this draft that screams franchise.

Seems like a fantasy write up from some Cardinals homer... that is all.

Man, he can have Bortles for free.
No we have to have some sort of return for the Bortles.

I'm confident that what Arians said on draft day in 2014 doesn't mirror his opinion in 2017.
So we trade Bortles, bring in a rookie QB. His first year is spent learning how to play in the NFL. Another 4 or 5 win season, followed by hype for 2018. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt.

What are you trying to say? I could almost guarantee they'd give up the thirteenth pick to get him.
Ultimately I'm not ready to give up on Blake because that means we're going to struggle to win for probably at least another couple of years, and every part of me that's a Jags is sick and tired of losing. So here's to a huge bounce back year for Blake, and an AFC South crown!

I dont think they would.  Maybe their 2nd
