I seem to remember a game we were involved in where one team was up by 27 and still lost the game, so in the very unlikely event we are up by 28 points, we won't be playing the backups until the game is mathematically out of reach.

That's fine. Just sprinkle in more rookies then. Cooks in for Jones. Strange in for Engram. Bigsby in for Etienne. Hodges in at Guard if he can play now. Lacy in at some point with Abdullah if they can both play.

Anytime you get a massive lead? You have to figure out a way to get your rookies and younger guys repetitions. It only helps in the long run with getting the team more comfortable with rotational needs in the play-offs.
Jags will win.

- Bengals cannot protect the passer (O-line is terrible)
- Bengals struggle in run defense (one of the worst in the league)
- Bengals secondary/safeties are very young and inexperienced (and may not even have 2nd year CB Cam Taylor Britt)
- Backup QB Jake Browning (uh yeah). Should've had 3 INTs yesterday vs Pitt with one being a pick 6.

I know, it's the NFL and anything can happen. But c'mon. Bengals shouldn't be coming close to winning this one.

Stranger things have happened and this team is historically notorious for playing down to competition. I don't think they'll do it on Monday Night Football. But, this is a beat up team with no Joe Burrow and their playoff hopes are all but dried up. They'll be playing a little desperate still.

Hopefully we bury them on national television but anything can happen.

I have good news for you, if there's one area in which our D excels, it is stopping the run.

We need to be sure we prep for this team, though. No looking ahead.

If we can force a turnover or two, the game should be ours.

I think we win big!

Wait, people don't say hip anymore?!?!

only when discussing replacements.

Hey nyc4jags and flsprtsgod....is this off topic? Just wondering

There's a report button if you are genuinely curious

I kinda doubt your sincerity here, though.

And I'll probably get flagged or put on the warning or censored because I spoke my mind which is literally you guys abusing being a poster/moderator

The butthurt is strong with this one.

Sounds like a tinhorns fan whining about refs.

I'm am pretty sure E!SPN is desperately searching for some breaking news to preempt the broadcast. I could see them just airing 3 hours of McAfee screaming and calling it a win for their ratings.

"And the Jags are back to receive the opening kickoff, and it's out of the end zone."

"I've just received word that we're going to leave this broadcast to join the finals of the Drone Racing League already in progress, so good night from Jacksonville!"

There's a couple folks who show up here after the game is over and start [BLEEP] posting dumb things. That guy was railing an Aussie about his cable connection, there's another one who wants to cry about the OC on a day when TLaw blew up; fortunately the OZJ guy only comes around if Lawrence has an off day, so we don't see him much any more.
Shouldn't be a very sweaty game, but like usual we have to show up and play our game and EARN the win. Very glad to be playing them without Burrow.. but I think it would have been an interesting match up with him. It wouldn't shock me if Houston lost to Denver this week, so we could pick up another game on the division. It also appears we'll be playing a bunch of back-ups for the Browns possibly without Myles Garrett.

Even with Burrow out, that's a bit more than I expected. They do have some talent in other areas even though I think the Jags will ultimately win this one.
Burrow being out is both a blessing and a curse. It woulda been nice to go out there and beat him while hes playing, but him being out makes it a lot easier.

Lol, could you imagine if I got a warning or suspension for using the word hip!! We've had some complaints....Lol

I thought us being 8-3 would mean a week of fun and enjoying the season but I should have known there's always something for some to complain about (not saying you, your one of the good ones on here)
Jags will win again cause of the Teal of Doom.  teal of doom is real, people don't want to talk about them.
What in the hell is the teal of doom supposed to mean?

Don’t you know?
Just take it one game at a time . I think the Bengals have some elite talent. Cannot take the foot off the gas pedal in this league.
