I see only two possibilities.
One, unlikely, at least one SS member went rogue and that was the shooter.
Two, more likely multiple SS spotted the shooter well in advance but thought he was one of theirs. Miscommunication.
Very ugly to sort out. Everyone is going to endure multiple interviews and interrogations over it.
But I just can't imagine that a man with a long rifle climbed on a rooftop with line of sight to the stage without being spotted.

BBC interviewed an attendee who had video of the guy. He said his group saw the guy climb on the roof. They were telling the police and they did nothing. They were pointing at the sniper team and then pointing at the shooter BEFORE the shots. You can listen to it link below...

Trump would be wise to ditch the SS detail and hire his own private security. Huge mistakes were made that nearly cost his life. Not sure anybody can be trusted at this juncture.

They tried to lock him up on bogus charges by turning standard misdemeanors into Felonies.
Now they are taking shots at him with an assassination attempt.
He still stands strong with his fist in the air and chanting USA. That's the kinda guy I want to run the country. That stunt just sealed this election for the corrupt Democrats.
