2. Same formation. Swing pass to Etienne.
3. I formation, twin TE's, power run up the middle. Strange is at FB here with Farrell and Engram on the edges.
4. Same as last play.
5. Single back formation. Twin TE set. Motion Strange into backfield, going PA boot to Strange in flat.
6. Gun formation. 5 WR set. Looking for Kirk underneath or BTJ on a slant.
7. Same as last play.
8. Back to split back set. Run play 1 again with options based on what motion shows.
9. TE screen to Engram in a 3 WR (Trips), 1 TE set.
10. 4 WR set. Kirk & Davis on one side. BTJ & Washington on the other. Outs from the slots. Fly's from the outs.
11. 4 WR set. Same personnel. Drags from the slots. Davis on a post. BTJ on a slant.
12. Split backs, 2 WR's, 1 TE. Engram in motion. If it's man? I am going pitch to Bigsby. If it's zone? I am going deep shot to Davis.
13. Bubble screen to Washington in a 3 WR (Trips), 1 TE set.
14. I formation, twin TE's, power run up the middle. Strange is at FB here with Farrell and Engram on the edges.
15. Victory formation. Because I scored 14 times. The game was over before half time. Thanks for playing along.

And if i were the owner, I'd fire you after play #1. So, you'd start Bigsby and go to MR. Fumble on the 1st play of the season?
Split backs. So, it's Etienne and Bigsby in the backfield. And, also, yes, in this scenario, it's an option. If Engram is used in motion and it looks like man coverage? I am pitching it to Bigsby. If it's zone? Looking to take a deep shot with Davis getting isolated with maybe a single high safety.
The defense will be looking for Etienne to get it first there in my opinion, especially with Lawrence under center. I am also trusting the RB we selected in the top, what? 100? To be MUCH better in year two. His overall running style and convictions looked much improved during the preseason.
I am also setting up the 2nd play to be an intended swing pass to Etienne in the same exact formation. It's chess, not checkers!
Sooooo good I got chills. Right up until the started overlaying Mumbles in there.

If dude gets injured and out for the season in preseason game 2 or week 1 of the regular season, what's really the difference? The only argument that makes sense to me is you have guys competing to make the roster that probably have little chance of making it and their mentality in the preseason game may be to throw caution to the win in order to make a play and get noticed which might put other guys on the field at greater risk. I agree with that being a concern and the solution is to have an agreement by both squads or by the league on how long 1's will play in preseason games and perhaps even how long the 2's will play.
I agree with others that it is about risk/reward. Coaches have calculated that the risk of injuries will hurt the team more than the benefit of playing significant time in a preseason game. Someone can still get hurt in practice, but it's seen as less risky because it's more controlled. Players are less likely to take cheap shots against their own teammates. They can also blow the whistle quicker at the end of plays, put a red jersey on the quarterback, etc.
While I like the idea in theory of forcing teams to play starters in the preseason, the reality is that it would impractical. First, who is to say who is a starter? Sometimes starting spots are up for grabs or so-called "surprise" cuts happens and someone new is the starter. Second, there are sometimes good reason to hold out a starter such as injury. If injured players were exempted, teams would have a long list of "injured" players. Third, if you implemented your proposal, teams would adjust and find ways to largely defeat the intended purpose. For example, if you forced the starting quarterback to play 20 snaps, the coaches may just have him hand off 20 times in a row. Teams on both sides may try to kill the clock starting in the first quarter in order to shorten the game. Teams may purposely fail to convert on third down in down in order to punt and put their quarterback back on the bench. From a practical stand point, this wouldn't work as intended.

Yeah I would consider the ones they use tablets. They do make an actual surface laptop without a detachable keyboard
You can take the keyboard off the surface pro, and choose tablet mode, but it's still a laptop.
If you stick a bluetooth keyboard case on an ipad, it doesn't become a laptop.

EVERYONE IN THE LEAGUE ALREADY KNOWS WHO IT IS. 91% of the board know who it is. The other 9% are coming out of a 5-year coma.
It'll be Press but I think Pederson wants him close to him so he can oversee it even more.
Either way, BTJ 65 yard TD!
Yea Doug wouldn't confirm who would be calling plays (which doesn't matter), but he did confirm that Press would be down on the sidelines.
One so they could have better communication with each other, but also so Press could have face to face communication with Trevor and the rest of the Offense.

Good points. My gripe really stems from the Falcons not running any of their 1's out in the final preseason game against us. Even though your 2's should mostly be able to step in and play well enough, that's not always the case and a potential guy on the field on the other side not knowing how to handle themselves in a preseason game for whatever reason could put your guys at heightened risk. I have no problem with the amount of time our 1's played in the preseason. And I wasn't really leaning toward a "you must name your 1's, even the positions where it's up for grabs" but more of a some guys there's no question be it money or widely recognized skill or both that they are the starter at their position so please line them up against us for a bit. Just seems like something two coaches could agree on, but I guess not. I'm not a Raheem Morris believer so maybe his decision not to play anybody will show up in week 1 or beyond.
wil someone please wrap Travor in bubble wrap,or O-line at least be a unstopple force. we already have 2 qbs hurt now. please protect trevor o-line with everything you got,or wrap him in bubblewrap. maybe both.

I’d like to think that playing our starters in the preseason will give us a slight edge with physicality. Miami is a finesse team with a really banged up O-line. Our D-line needs to dominate the line of scrimmage and make Tua’s day a nightmare. I’m confident that Doug took the right approach to this preseason to get his team ready to hit the ground running when the real games start.
Buffalo Trace handles at Publix for $46.99. My key to the game is fulfilled.

WOW $46.99 for Buffalo Trace? I used to get that in Louisville for $8.99. You should try "Bibb and Tucker" it is about the same price as Trace then. Reminds me of Blanton's which is made by Trace's distillery. Blanton is a step below Pappy.
Not a bad price at all. Stll working on my bottle of Talisker single malt scotch whisky.

For anyone wondering, whiskey is always on topic.
1. Defensive pressure on the interior
2. Oline blocking
3. Trevor's decision making.
That's pretty much it.

What the heck? The last bottle I purchased was $32. I only drink bourbon during football season so that was last year but still that is some serious inflation.

Not all price increases are due to inflation. Some are purely due to free market supply and demand.
