But realistically yeah it's a big mountain to climb and we'd need the tinhorns to hit a bad stretch (they've had 2 very nice games to start the year, they've got a tough schedule) but I do think there's talent on this team and we're in a terrible funk right now but if we can find a way to win these next 2 games, boy that changes things and should have this team going in the right direction.
How quickly people have forgotten about us being 2-6 (3-7 as well) in 2022. Only to end up minutes away from likely going to the Conference Championship if not for an Agnew fumble.
I see Bill Belichick rumors. I hope we can turn this around. It’s all about the offense.

To add to that, If we lose Sunday only 1 team in NFL history has started 0-4 and made the playoffs, 92 Chargers.

The stats don’t take into the nuances of a season. We are playing our hardest stretch of games the first 4 weeks of the season. Anything can happen
There have only been 59 Super Bowls band asically every champion is likely the "first or only team to ever win" despite some stat, ranking, prior history, etc. Basically every champion is in some fashion an outlier.
So this info is nice to have as fans to reset our expectations for what is probably or not, but it in no ways dooms the team to any certain fate.
As cited on 1010XL yesterday, since 1981, only 5 times has a team made the playoffs after starting 0-3.

I think this game is the game that determines our season. If we can dig deep and beat the Bills I think we beat the Texans next week. I think we have a better roster than the Bills. Do the players have the heart and the will to actually hold up and play at a mid to high level when their backs are against the wall? We don't need weak minded players or coaches that fold in pressure situations.
Our tackles are the biggest reason we are 0-2 and that was supposed to be our strength on the oline. On defense our safties have been the weakest link and Cisco and Cam are both in contract years. Neither will be back unless they pick up their play. Harrison will have another tough matchup against Rousseau and Miller. Von is healthy and playing at a high level again and next week gets no easier for Anton.
If Harrison has another bad game I think he needs to get benched along with Cam. This is the NFL and you will have a tough matchup every week so its no excuse. The 2 biggest reasons the Saints and Chargers are 2-0 is because of Alt and Fuaga, my 2 favorite players in the draft

That's not a historical stat. It merely demonstrates a shift in our passing attack that has been discussed since late 2023 and is finally laid bare.
Three years of a Doug Pederson offense? LOL C'mon. You know that's not what this is.
And, no, I do not cite historical stats "in many other posts" - in fact I often point out their flaws.
Radio heads now echoing same concerns with Smith a healthy scratch.
