We need that pick for a new QB

QB draft class doesnt look promising...
With a new GM and new coaching staff we can turn it around next year

How many times have we heard this...

What's sad is we're talking about this after the first 3 games of the season...

Can't do anything but just laugh at it honestly.
Lawrence is no where near as bad as previous jags QBs. Our expectations are higher which is good. Lawrence will recover from this.

We could have before as well we just didn't have a GM that could draft the right players.  Have to find the right GM first and foremost
Doug been a good soldier saying all the right thing while making chicken salad out of Baalke's chicken [BLEEP] drafts for 3 years,
The team is just playing completely unmotivated football. Doug has won with less than this team. All signs show that he has given up. The dude just looks and speaks like he's burnt, and the players are reacting. They see Doug collecting and cruising, they themselves are gonna just collect and cruise.

I see a guy who just knows they don't have the talent to win and every year it gets worse.

Edit: Oh hey, Baalke just drafted another running back!

We had basically the same players from 2022, with actually upgrading certain spots.

At some point you have to point the finger at the guy responsible for developing players, developing schemes, developing game plans, and making sure the players execute.

Why is it that other teams improve while our team never does?

Denver has lost tons of draft picks, and yet they look more competent than we do.  Why is that?  They don't even have picks to improve with.  But if you have a HC that knows how to hire competent coaches and knows how to develop players, teams can still get better.

Why is it that we have gotten worse?  I mean, at some point you have to just accept the reality that Pederson is a bad HC.

Edit: All this to say that Baalke should also be fired. But let's not pretend that Pederson isn't a terrible HC.
The season's over by October again. And here I thought those days were over.

Our team improved substantially while Doug has been here you moron. Or did you forget what 2021 looked like? Face it, Pederson has gotten all he can out of Baalke's trash rosters. Denver? That's your measuring stick? Really?? Gee-zus.

Edit: I gotta keep going here. Did Neilsen suddenly just suck as a DC beause he's on Pederson's staff? Or does that fact that his players are substantially worse than they were in Atlanta or New Orleans play even little part in why this team sucks [BLEEP] and his other ones were pretty good? Did he suddenly forget how to coach? Is it Press Taulor's fault they gave up FIVE CONSECUTIVE TDs TONIGHT??

Pederson isn't a terrible coach, Neilsen isn't a terrible coach...the GM is a bum. Always has been an over-promoted bum, always will be an over-promoted bum.

Why are you calling me names?

Everyone knows that it was Doug that gets the flowers for 2022.  But likewise, Doug gets the criticism for the regression since then.

I've been saying it since last year.  The team Doug formed in 2022 was so good.  I loved that team.  But as soon as we got to October of 2023, I kept pointing out how things didn't seem the same.  That was even when we were winning.  We were winning in spite of what the offense was doing.  And now, in 2024, Doug has completely lost the players.

It's obvious that this team has no identity.  This team has no passion.  This team has no heart.  This team has regressed from what Doug created in 2022.  I don't know how else to put it.  But anyone that has been following this team for any amount of time can see this is not a lack of talent or because of the O-Line.  This is a coaching issue.

Yeah, I will agree that we should fire Baalke too.  But Baalke isn't losing this locker room.  These are the players Doug has.  And he and the coaches he has hired or backed up for the last 3 seasons are not getting the job done.
Doug just threw the players under the bus during his convo with Bucky...Wow, look in the mirror buddy.

That team in 2022 was bought, which Baalke is ok at doing. Since then the team has had to rely on the draft, where Baalke sucks. This isn't complicated, the quality of players declines once Baalke isn't free to spend all Khan's money on free agents. Everyone knows that teams that are good because of free agency don't stay that way for long. I don't care if Pederson is fired at this point, but the job he's done with a [BLEEP] roster is admirable if unsustainable.

He's right. Doug Pederson didn't blow one coverage or miss one block or throw one interception tonight. It's the guys on the field who are the problem.
Watching coaches press conference. He said we have to fix this.
Who made business decisions tonight? Start with them. It's all on tape.

Montaric Brown made quite a few. He was 3 steps off and mirroring the receivers at one point.

You have to develop the players you get.  You also have to put those players in the best position to be successful.

This team has regressed.  And I'm sorry, we have gotten better players overall in skill positions.  The O-Line is similar to what it was in 2022.  And yet everything looks worse.  At some point you have to point the finger at the HC.

That's just how it goes.  And it's not like we are getting the best out of Doug.  The dude looks lost when the cameras show him.  He's old, can't even read his own playbook without reading glasses, for crying out loud.  He's lost his edge.

He had an edge in 2022.  He's just a loser now that is riding on his one lucky season in Philly.

(Notice I didn't throw any pejoratives at you)

Josh Hines-Allen loafed in the red zone....

He had no answers. He did get upset when asked if you go the opposite direction.
