His contract is the outcome of poor drafting and why a good GM is so important.

Since then the team has had to rely on the draft, where Baalke sucks. This isn't complicated, the quality of players declines once Baalke isn't free to spend all Khan's money on free agents. Everyone knows that teams that are good because of free agency don't stay that way for long. I don't care if Pederson is fired at this point, but the job he's done with a [BLEEP] roster is admirable if unsustainable.
He's right. Doug Pederson didn't blow one coverage or miss one block or throw one interception tonight. It's the guys on the field who are the problem.
You have to develop the players you get. You also have to put those players in the best position to be successful.
This team has regressed. And I'm sorry, we have gotten better players overall in skill positions. The O-Line is similar to what it was in 2022. And yet everything looks worse. At some point you have to point the finger at the HC.
That's just how it goes. And it's not like we are getting the best out of Doug. The dude looks lost when the cameras show him. He's old, can't even read his own playbook without reading glasses, for crying out loud. He's lost his edge.
He had an edge in 2022. He's just a loser now that is riding on his one lucky season in Philly.
(Notice I didn't throw any pejoratives at you)

What a stupid take. Reading glasses means he's lost his edge? GTFOH with that nonsense.
This is how meta-AI summarized.
Jaguar fans, express outrage, and disappointment after humiliating loss, calling for coaching changes, player replacements and even threatening to abandon the team. One fan suggest starting over from scratch while another nostalgically wishes for urban Meyers return.
SMH haha

Fire the HC and the GM.
Done and done. A competent, young HC that knows how to run a modern NFL offense will do wonders for what we are currently seeing. Hell, I'd like to see Brian Flores come in as HC and bring a young OC to run the offense.
There are so many options.
I remember when everyone wanted to fire Jack Del Rio because we were just an average team. I kept saying, if you fire Jack, who do you think would be better? And we went through 10 years of crap HC retreads with the sprinkles of Ice Cream Gus.
But this isn't that time. There are plenty of other coaches out there that would do levels of magnatude better as HC than what we have now. Doug can't even read his laminated Denny's Menu of a playbook without putting on his glasses. The dude is cooked.
It's time to move on.

There are some good head coaches begging to get a shot at an nfl team. I don’t know what’s happened to coach Pederson. Strange times right now

No it isnt, it's Ageist.

He got caught in a trap of trying to get his buddy Press HC recognition and by the time it was apparent he wasn't, he was already in too deep to recover. A death spiral. Doug's loyalty killed his career. Not to mention his DC hire. There isn't a worse decision maker in the entire league than Doug.

Haha. I think if was having drinks, the jags would have put me in a little funk tonight. This was ridiculous.
There is a lot of money being invested in whatever the product we saw on the field is tonight. This team is a meme.

Yeah good read.
When times pass you by, it's not ageist to point out that the time has passed you by. I mean, it's life. Nobody lives forever.
How long does Engram intend to milk his "injury"? His absence has crippled this offense and exposed Balkes massive reach at TE..
If you were Shad Khan, how would you be feeling right now? He pulled out his fountain pen and signed some BIG checks and contracts over the off season, and this is how they thank him? I'd be handing out pink slips after next week's game if we lose to the Texans and go 0-4.
Everyone from the GM on down needs to go. I'd give Rick Spielman a call, or start immediately on a the job of researching who I want to hire for my next GM. We have to get that position right this time. Then, let the GM go to work on the job of finding his coaching staff.

It’s a pipe dream.
Remember when Khan vowed to search for someone aka an EVP? I do
The city and the franchise already made a major investment to "TrevorBank" renovations. I don't think Shad is going to be as willing to watch this dumpster fire as he was when he first took over ownership. At least I hope he's not that apathetic.

They tried to and it got shut down. I think Baalke called the league because he was the GM and was going to be losing duties to the EVP. He somehow came out of it with no lost responsibilities and still had a job.

Are we sure the city hasn't stopped payment on any checks?

Don’t get me started on the RB situation. That goalline fumble that cost us the Miami game did a lot of damage to the mental psyche and confidence of this team.
I honestly think that if we had won that game, we’d be 3-0 or at least 2-1 rn

You don't think he has had offers over the past half decade?
I guarantee he has, and he has decided to turn them down and stay in KC.
