Tinhorns are coming into this week getting throttled by the Vikings and will be looking to exert their will against us. If we thought the Bills passing threat was dangerous, unfortunately the Tinhorns have a more daunting group for us - obviously Josh Allen > CJ Stroud, but the shear amount of receiving threats they have does not bode well for us.

This will be an every week thing.  Whoever we play will be looking for an easy rebound against us, we are the get right team for teams around the league to get back on track.

Absolutely agree.

We are the tune-up game for other teams. Unfortunately, the Tinhorns have extra motivation to lay it on us this next game after how bad they got dismantled. Division foes will always have that extra oomph to play their best.

Snowwie, we need you to have a double dose of salmon this week.

Please, for all of Jacksonville, we need your services to bring a win here at this point.

Trevor gets hurt, someone gets fired.

Evidently a nearly 40 point loss in prime time for the damned world to see makes the hmfic only "angry and unkind." Tom Coughlin was like that after most wins. Buncha hymens.
I can't fathom how important of a game this game is
Not only is it a divison rival but aftwr what we had to endure as a fan base yesterday a win would go a long way

Can someone put Doug and Baalke on a Runaway Train?

He looks like Lawrence and Lawrence is playing like a runaway train!

Put Trevor on that Texans team and Stroud on this team give me Trevor
The run starts now. 4-3 going into the Packers game.

Next 4 games - tinhorns, clots, Bears in London, Pats in London. All winnable.

Man, I freaking hope so...

I think this entire franchise breaks and fractures if we lose to the Tinhorns, especially in an embarrassing manner. The owner, the coaches, players, the fans and this freaking city would just be broken.

I have never been so dejected about the state of play of our Jags like this year.

This was supposed to be the year. Trevor was our savior and the "prince that was promised". Doug was a "QB whisperer". Our offense would be a high-powered scoring machine. Our leading, dynamic pass rushers of Hines-Allen and Walker would wreak havoc on opposing QBs.

This crap just hurts man. And it freaking hurts because I've cared this long for this type of product to be presented to us game in and game out.

Can somebody genuinely find some rational reasons how this crap can turn around? Not any of that "well we just have to beat the Texans and we'll be ok". Yeah sure, and how the hell is this team of bozos going to do that? O-line is still indefensible, WRs still dropping balls or not getting open, ETN stumbling over his own shoelaces constantly, defense completely unable to push opposing linemen let alone generate any semblance of pressure, lack of any turnovers and Trevor playing like dog [BLEEP] in the very few instances that he does have time to throw the ball.

This is bad and I don't think anybody thought it would be this bad going into year 4.
We have a team (just like last year) that can win in Houston. The jury is out on whether or not this team cares to even attempt winning though. Defense isn't stopping anyone again, and the offense is erratic and terrible. Lost all faith in this team competing for a win. They'll fall behind early and just disintegrate from there trying to keep up. That is just more of the same.
Friendly reminder that the Jaguars haven’t won a game since last Thanksgiving weekend

It is more that each of Houston, Indy and Chicago have particular weaknesses that can be exploited.

These 3 games will help us know if the coaching staff actually can create game plans to do that, or if they will just continue to do what they do and "be us". The Vikings game should have given clear things to use. The Colts have been horrible at stoping the run except against the worst run team. Chicago has issues on offense and can be schemed around on defense.

Patriots game will depend on execution and not shooting themselves in the foot, and maybe hoping the new Patriots coaching staff mishandles the trip to London.

Men running full speed to tackle other men or putting them at risk of being leveled care. Players who make the NFL generally care. I'm tired of so many people on this board claiming to know that this team doesn't care.

Now can they quit on their coaches because they don't trust them or think the coaches care about players, sure. But that is different issue.

Also, can they get in their own heads/psyche and fold when thing go wrong, possibly but that is also a different issue.

We wouldn't beat them even if we were good. That's against the rules or something.

On the other hand: it's time for our franchise QB to show what his fans say he can do. No more excuses, just do it.

I love your optimism bud but I just can't see it.
Bench Robinson, Scherff, and ETN. Start Little, Tugboat, and (gasp) Bigsby respectively. You're welcome. If Anton is out this week is should be CVL at RT, he's serviceable for a week or 2.
I'm telling you all now theres nothing we can do to get the jags a win at texans.  we are not going to beat the texans this sunday.   We will have a win streak though starting when e wear the prowler uniforms.

we will beat the colts, bears, patriots, packers, eagles, and vikeings . we will be 6-4 going to lions game then we go on a loseing streak again loseing to texans, tittians. team wears the prowler unis the jets game and we start another winning streak by beating jets, raiders, tittians, and colts.   we end up 10-7 make play  offs as 7 seed. wear the prowler unis first game in playoffs, and we win out all the way to winning a Super Bowl.
