Thoughts?

They have a very solid D. I want Allen and Walker to dominate this game
Caleb Williams can hurt people. He's making a lot of mistakes so far, but that can change. The Jags D has to correct what went wrong at the end of the Colts game.
I hate the London games.
Starts at 12:30am my time lol

Go to bed fingers crossed and wake up fingers crossed hoping you see something positive lol

He has one of the best WRs groups in the league with Moore, Allen, Odunze, and Kmet.  Lots of weapons.  I'm scared about out secondary.  Need Dewey and Campbell back

Hehe, it's in his name.

It looks like Caleb had found his stride against the Panthers, so I expect the London game to be tough.

Australia jag not British jag  Wink
If we can pick up 2 more wins against the Bears and Patriots, we can get to 3-4 and start gaining some ground for a late push.
If their line can let our OLBs get to Caleb early, we might be able to rattle him. I wonder if the body clock acclimates to playing at odd hours.

Putting a whuppin on the Panthers shouldn't be a big deal. It won't be a cakewalk, but I figure we can ride some momentum and keep the dubs comin. We just have to get some stops on D, force the kid into some mistakes.
Caleb I’m sure has some confidence after yesterday’s game, but this is also the same Panthers (maybe even worse defensively) the CJ Beathard beat up last year.

I’d rather play them in London where we are used to the trip and they have important pieces making the trip for the first time.

Perhaps this will spark something like last season where getting away from the noise and staying together will get the team rolling.
BJT vs Jaylon Johnson will be a fun matchup to watch. The Bears have a really good D and will be a tough test for our offense.
Have to get to Caleb very early. If he starts off strong, it's going to be a long day. The pass defense gives me no confidence if this happens.

Their defense is 8th against the pass and 18th against the run. Get the ground game moving and set up play action.
Chicago SUCKS.

Line is Chi -2, they are the 'home' team in the london stadium.

Jags by 2 TD.
We're not favored in this game already. I believe the Money Line on most betting sites has the Bears -125. The Over/Under is set at 43 and the spread is at 2 either way.

They have a very, very good defense. They're 5th overall in PF and 7th overall in yards allowed. They're a sack by committee defense. Starts with Gervon Dexter right down the middle though. Going to be tough for this offense.

As much as I would like a fast start? I don't expect it. Big plays will be hard to find. I think patience is key. Need to try and bait their interior into the pocket and go over their heads with screens and quick passes.

Offensively, they're putting a lot of trust in Caleb. They don't run the football a whole lot. D.J Moore is a major concern of mine. They target him and feed him as much as they can. Odunze and Kmet are also right behind in yardage and Allen is just now getting back into the fold.

Caleb has played well over the last two weeks as far as seeing the field, not taking too many risks with the football and he's actually avoided the rush well over these past two weeks.

It'll be a tough game man. Not sure we'll win this one. Could go either way. If they can get creative in the secondary and apply some pressure on Caleb while not losing containment they can keep the game close. Lawrence is going to have to be quick and accurate against that defense though.

This is the one game where I would love to see Engram back and out there in formations with Strange and where we also see Bigsby and Etienne in split back formations. It's the only way to keep their front seven honest and somewhat on their toes.

I don't trust our backfield in pass protection in this one.
London games are always weird. I think you can basically throw out everything that's happened the first 5 weeks.

I think it could look a lot like the Vikings/Jets game if I am being honest. With us being the Vikings in this case. Maybe Caleb will get overwhelmed and have a rough rookie outing with 3 INT's, including a pick six.

Maybe our offense will break through some resistance from their defense and have their moments in the sun but also some really bad outings that leave you scratching your head and us hanging onto the edge of our seats before 12:30 PM coming down to the wire.

This game against Chicago worries me more than the second game over there against New England. I think Chicago is overachieving a bit at the moment and they're a scrappy team that rallies and compliments each other when needed.

Just have to be smart on defense. Don't let Moore beat you over the top. Don't let Allen nickel and dime you with his veteran abilities and don't let Kmet get isolated too much over the middle. Nielsen has to do a better job scheming and coaching this defense though.

Agreed.

If there's a venue/location/game where everything but the game can potentially affect the outcome - its the London game. Also helps that our guys have a sense of "routine" when they go overseas where it's not completely foreign to them.
It's got to be tough for a rookie QB to go and play in London. It's tough in general, which is why we see some really weird games over there. Would be a great bounce back spot for the safeties here. Teams have had success running the ball on them, Bears D giving up 4.8 ypc on the year. Get Tank and ETN rolling. Also comes down to stopping Swift and forcing the rookie qb in 3rd and long. Think we have a great shot this week.
With our banged up secondary I don't like our chances.
Luckily Caleb Williams hasn't been very good so far. His deep ball hasn't been successful so maybe that's a plus for us. If we can keep executing the way that worked yesterday then we should be ok.

He looked pretty good against the Panthers (20/29 304yds 2 TDs).
