Balke was promoted to bring in Urban who was a complete and utter failure. He should have jettisoned with Urbs yet here he is still stinking up the joint. San Francisco rose after his departure. It was not a coincidence.
Urban was Khans guy not Baalke's

Did you watch what happened after the ETN fumble in Maimi? And then how lifeless we looked against Cleveland?
I think players have been quitting this entire season.
Yes, there has been a lot of down moments, I don’t know if I’d call those times players quitting. The players just suck. But if they are out there giving 1/4 effort, it puts a lot of players in danger. I’d expect some sort of players meeting this week. They shouldn’t need any motivation to play with full effort regardless of record or bad plays. Players need to hold each other accountable in these situations, but who the hell is the leader in this locker room?
Remember how unified and motivated the team was in the game against the Chargers? It wasn't even two years ago. This organization has fallen so far, so quickly.

Why do you think Khan would fire Pederson and not fire Baalke? Other than, "Oh Baalke has hypnotized Khan"
I know you say that as a joke but I halfway believe it.
From shads perspective it's easier to fire the gm than the coach. After all; baalke can hire another one
The reality is they are both to blame although Im almost tempted to lay this season more on Doug than on trent
I hear ya, but at this point, you gotta get rid of both of them. It's true that these coaches don't develop players. But Baalke's drafting isn't helping us either. After watching Trevor get absolutely mauled, he did very little to bring in more players for the O-Line. The lack of DT pressure was addressed, but hasn't come to fruition.
Also, Trent hired Doug. So I'm not ready to give him another chance to find another bum HC. Baalke is always hit or miss with his FAs and draft picks. But at this point he just has to go, along with Doug.

This is a relevant point as well.
ETN has had multiple miscues this year, and although the coaching staff is blaming it on injury, it has resulted in less playing time.
They need to hold other players accountable in a similar fashion. If coaches perceive a lack of effort bench em. That simple.
Hopefully shad takes a similar tack with coaches and GM's. Unfortunately the only ones casting judgement on shad himself are the long-suffering Jaguar fans

I've been chasing that high for 21 months how... This offense, this team hasn't looked like that since...

Ever heard a Belichick player say some [BLEEP] like this to the media? Dude even kept murderers under wrap.

LOL
Post game radio show is not happy about Cisco's comments. Only Hacker is really defending it. Searcy and Campo said it was wrong. Also, if you're going to make a comment like that? Drop names then as well. Campo and Searcy think he should be fined for conduct detrimental to the team.
Well, if that's the case, [BLEEP] fine everybody for detrimental conduct to the team. Because they all suck.

BB never lost the team, at the end they just had no talent. He would trade your [BLEEP] before a player got to that point

Cisco has really regressed this year. But so has most of the defense. The most logical reason is that it's the scheme. Neilsen is not playing to the strengths of the players and it's showing. Absolutely horrible hire as the D coordinator.

I listened the the Post game that came in right after the game ended. They had callers calling in. They would not let the callers get too negative before cutting them off and dumping the call.
Sometimes these guys are waaaaay too pro-jaguar.
Hacker is always the guy to listen too. He'll tell you straight up. Him and Dan Hicken tell it like it is. The others try to sugar coat a bit. And I think after this game, there's a lot of damage control trying to be done when the horses are already out of the barn.

Sounds similar to what happens when the board goes down post game as well.
Nielsen has been a bad hire
Damage control? Let the bodies hit the floor. Maybe it'll wake somebody up to the reality of the situation. People are giving Cisco grief for saying what he did but we all have a breaking point and maybe today was his with the snowball effect of the season so far and Doug's post game message which is the same thing every single week.
If guys are quitting this early in the season alarm bells should be ringing loud enough for the dead to hear.

He's a good DC. But he was hired to run a scheme that wasn't fit for the players we have... That's been our problem for decades. We hire coaches that try to always force their design into players not capable of being successful in that design.
Then we hire GMs that get players that never fit into the schemes the coaches are trying to run. It's insane. You just gotta wipe the whole thing clean. Get a new GM and let the GM help in finding the coach that'll work for him.
Other franchises can do it. We can to. But it has to start now. Khan should already be looking at finding a consultant team to help him figure out how to move forward. Hell, he should just fire Baalke now. Get him out of there to lessen the tension in the front office.

And? Yes Urbs was Shad’s guy. And if memory serves me correct Balke had an in with him. I’ll not claim my memory is infallible but I recall a tie between the Balke and Meyer to assist in Kahn getting Urbs. So again, both can be true.

Agreed. Neither the offense nor the defense plays to the strength of the personnel. There is talent on this team, it is just not being utilized.
