He played on that first drive and gave up that huge gain on the crosser i believe it was.   Smith was inactive

Time for reality to set in.  We're not winning another game in the next month.  The team lacks the talent/coaching to beat any of them.

The rumor is that Baalke traded RRH to force Dougs hand in playing Maason. So of course, Maason becomes inactive.

All the teams coming up are good, but i think i fear the lions the most.

I will say the O-line played a lot better today. Walker Little is more physical and able to get downfield much better than Cam can. Not sure why he isn't starting. IF they re-sign either one, I hope it's Little. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Yeah - Johnson was basically benched for Savage today.
Savage was the official starter at SS today and J.Jones the official starter at nickel. 

Johnson played very few snaps. 

Why Maason Smith isn't active and getting snaps is a mystery that reflects poorly on the staff, the front office, and the dynamics between them.

If you don't think the Jags can beat both the Packers and the Eagles then you haven't been watching other teams this year.   Especially the Eagles.

Now, I wouldn't bet on the Jags to win any of their next 4, but it wouldn't surprise me if they went 2-2.

Johnson just always seemed to be out of position.  Savage hasn't been "good" but I guess it's a matter of lesser of two evils and Savage has more experience and maturity.  The issue with Maason Smith just seems bizarre.  He seemed to make plays and get more of a push inside than the other DT's.  If it's truly a [BLEEP] for tat between Doug and Trent, then that's just more evidence that they both need to be gone and sooner rather than later.

Of course it would be GREAT if they won against either one  - or both.  Heck, it would be fantastic if they went undefeated the rest of the season and won the Super Bowl.  But realistically I don't see a win on the schedule in the next 4 weeks.  The soft part of the schedule is over and a win over the Pats isn't going to give false hope.  Both the Packers and Eagles are more talented teams with better coaching.  

But if the Jags beat the Packers, then I'm going to buy tickets to one of the home games this year.

Rumor by who?  Smith had more snaps than RRH last week.  They were also playing RRH deep into the 4th quarter in preseason.  Was the rumor from a reliable source? It would be more believable if RRH was getting more snaps and RRH wasnt singled out in preseason on D getting so many snaps late into the games
