Rumor by who?  Smith had more snaps than RRH last week.  They were also playing RRH deep into the 4th quarter in preseason.  Was the rumor from a reliable source? It would be more believable if RRH was getting more snaps and RRH wasnt singled out in preseason on D getting so many snaps late into the games

That was a good trade no matter what the reason. Jags need to play players who could be something.

Why? You can’t get anything for nothing. That guy is a ok at best at stopping the run. Addition by substituting someone else in there who could flash.

He’s been looking good for 3 weeks straight.

Agree.  Free up the cap space and give Maason Smith some reps.  IF this coaching staff will actually play him.

I really think you rate RRH too highly.   In the off season I was mad at the front office for giving him a new contract.

He, like a lot of Jag defenders, would have a game where you notice him, then three games where you wouldn't.   Arden Keys was more valuable than that due to consistency.   You never knew when Big Roy would show up.

The trade wasn't bad...if for no other reason than to get rid of the contract.
Just finished watching the game

Lawrence hada great game

Loved bigsby and btj's work

Defence was average

Was not impressed at losing that 4th and short in the redzone

Being carved up by hasty was fun

Also [BLEEP] Darby Washington is my new goat at returner

It was already highly likely we would be parting ways next offseason.  You have replacements on the roster already.  Why not get the 6th rounder versus nothing with him likely being cut next offseason?  It's about as good as you could expect to get for 11 games worth of work which is what the Seahawks will get from him this year barring injury.
