Destined for the #1 overall pick now for the third time over the last five years. Sweet baby ray BBQ sauce. When will this nightmare end?

Shad Khan is truly a horrendeous NFL owner.
It's quiet amusing how fans excuse his horrible decision making year in and out.

When teams forced 3+ turnovers and held their opponent to 0 touchdowns and only allowed FGs those teams were 195 - 0.
Until yesterday. That stat is now 195 - 1. A new record and way of losing found by our franchise.

Meh...
You're being dramatic.
People like him because he committed to their small market town when he could have packed it in for a bigger market.
Up until the Marrone years, he was a new owner still learning the ropes and trying to figure out who to trust.
He hired consulting firms to help him with every major hire until he decided to go rogue and swing for the fences with bringing back Coughlin and then another whiff with Urbz.
I don't excuse him for either of those decisions. Bad moves, both.
He has tried multiple different approaches with various HC types.
None have worked out for him.
2022 came together OK - so he doubled down and opened the checkbook for Pederson and Baalke.
They [BLEEP] the bed.
Now it's time to see if he holds them accountable.
My guess is that they are both gone in January.

You making it seem like that's an easy thing to do. Khan wouldve totally "packed it in" if the money and move was smart. Afterall hes a billionaire dollar investor. So he gets no points for me on that.
Another thing: he has been lazy in hirings. There was so many red flags with Baalke and he signed him when no one else would even have him in scouting departments let alone NFL GM of a team.

Khan has no connections to this city, why do you think he has this unadmirable love for a city that he had no ties prior to purchasing the team?

Doesn't mean he's not invested. He clearly is invested in the franchise and he's proven he's invested in the city. But he's not the same as us. He needs someone, like Boselli, or another NFL guy that will explain to him what's happening. He's Theoden, and Baalke is Worm Tounge.
He needs to be cleared of the idiocy to recognize the right things that need to be done. Boselli is the guy that can get that done. Boselli is Gandalf.
Boselli is freaking Merry Brandybuck, a nice story irrelevant to the main plot.

He hired Trent even after all the rumors and red flags he has as a GM. Coaches didn’t want to come to Jacksonville because of Baalke. Khan makes idiotic choices and never learns.
I'm willing to bet Doug or Trent is back next year.
...given Shad's history, that's a safe bet.
I'll say that TB's history comes with an asterisk, Jed York is a toolbag of an owner, and there's the air of interference during his tenure there as Doug had with Lurie/Roseman during his time in Phillyville. TB was awarded as executive of the year in his time there, but that was a long time ago, and boy howdy he hasn't seemed worthy of any honors in quite a dang while.
flsg is right that it's very easy to end up even worse, we've found some doozies in our day (how ya been, jeensmiff?) but there is turmoil within. At least one are gone, and I don't know if Khan has the stones to completely wipe the slate clean. We might have to wait for Tony K to take the reigns for that to happen.

It was a fine evening with good bourbon and laughable conversation.
And Tony Boselli is the Korg of the Jaguars Universe while Frank Frangie is Luis and Jeff Lageman fills out the trio as Isaiah Bradley.

I'd be ok with that move, but a shame that any coach brought in would be ruined by the retention of Trent Baalke.
But man, could you see the fun we'd have with a headline that reads, "New Jaguars Coach Zack Taylor rounds out his staff, naming brother Press as Offensive Coordinator and former coach Doug Pederson as QB coach."

You need to go do some reading up on the Panthers owner.
Shad may not be favored by the football gods, but by no means is he as reprehensible as some of his peers.

Ratt's "Round and Round" just started blaring in my head. Whether that's related to your proposal or just to drown out the screaming in my own head over everything, I am uncertain. Maybe I just long for the 80's. At least then I could hope for my team to get to the postseason before ripping my heart out. This week 5 and 6 baloney is too much.

You are arguing with yourself at this point.
I never claimed any of that horse [BLEEP] you're trying to straw man with.
I said ppl like him because he is keeping the team here and he could have done otherwise.
No clue what the hell you're blathering about.
And he absolutely could have moved the team prior to signing this new lease.
He still can, it will just cost him a lot more to do it now.

2. Like where? Can you list some cities that would make Khan swallower in the pockets than where he has the team currently? If so, please be specific.
