You just proved it again.
You're good at proving points that you supposedly don't care about.
Don't care about points, it's the individual that needs a reckoning.

I wanted to revisit this. I've been on this board for 6 years trying to get Trump supporters to admit how dangerous he is. I'm making significant progress, actually.
My first post here was trying to show you that Trump's claim that "they spied on my campaign" was a carefully engineered, insidious lie designed to make you think that a line had been crossed. Trump didn't actually feel like a victim himself, he just wanted you to give him permission to cross lines as he retaliated. It's his whole pattern. Wah wah I'm a victim, you're a victim, we're all victims, now give me unlimited power. Now look the other way while I try to entangle vulnerable foreign governments in my personal and partisan schemes.
I think L2L is starting to get it. There's hope for the rest of you, maybe.

I said he's starting to get it, not that he gets it.
He sees the opportunity out there for an authoritatarian.
He sees the many people who want Trump to exploit that opportunity.
He knows it would be bad for almost everybody if Trump became like a king.
But he still refuses to see the evidence that Trump wants to be that guy, that he's trying to be that guy. He still insists that it's just theater and New York style exaggeration.
But still he's made more progress in his perception than the rest of you.

[BLEEP], I have been saying this stuff for years. The conditions are perfect for a strongman authoritarian. I can remember saying this after the 2016 election. I did not vote for Trump that year, btw.
Trump is a narcissist. I don't think he's evil and calculating like you guys do, but I do think he's got a giant blind spot as it pertains to who he is and his abilities. I think he could easily convince himself he's what's best for the country for 10, 12, 15 years. I'd be right by your side if he ever tried, but our system is set up to stop that. That said, you make it an ever-present threat. You think you know his inner thoughts. You don't. You're just a message board warrior that is every bit as arrogant and self-consumed as Trump. At least Trump has a track record of success and what I believe to be good political instincts (for policy, not presentation).

Look folks we have a missionary in our mist. He knows better than everyone and will convert us to "the right way to think". All I can say is wow, just wow. You do have quite the opinion of yourself don't you.

My opinion about Trump forms no part of my identity.
This isn't religion, though many people who have avoided attachment to traditional religion up to now do process it with that part of their brains.
