How many times have we seen 2nd down and less than a yard and we see a pass or running wide because they don’t trust the offensive line to get the push to run it up the middle. You draft smaller offensive lineman because you want faster players to be able to block 2nd level defenders.Meanwhile, your running backs a lot of times are being hit in the backfield because the line can’t get any push.

I agree. Passing would be so much easier if we had a running game, our drives would last longer, and we'd score a lot more. Everything would be better.
I think a major improvement in our running game would require a complete reset at GM and HC, because I think our problems running the ball come from the way we built the team and the type of offense we try to have.

Since when was Chad Henne turnover free? Outside of playing us.

Exactly this. They need to clean house, and draft some road graders in middle of this offense line so they can run up middle, keep the chains moving. In the later rounds they could use a bigger back to convert short yardage, to back up Tank. I also believe, due to his previous foot injury, Travis should be on the trading block because i believe he has lost a step. All this would make play action a hell of a lot more successful.
