1. Detroit Lions
General Manager - Ray Agnew
Head Coach - Ben Johnson (Calls the offense)

General Manager - Mike Borgonzi
Head Coach - Steve Spagnuolo
Offensive Coordinator - Frank Reich
3. Buffalo Bills
General Manager - Matt Bazirgan
Head Coach - Joe Brady (Calls the offense)
4. Denver Broncos
General Manager - Brian Stark
Head Coach - Vance Joseph
Offensive Coordinator - John Morton
5. Philadelphia Eagles
General Manager - Jon Ferrari
Head Coach - Kellen Moore (Calls the offense)
I like everyone on the top 3 of your list. For Vance Joseph, I look at him as a coach who tops out as a DC, and he's already had a shot at HC and looked pretty bad.
I noticed that Coen isn't on your list, any reason? (I may have missed it in an earlier post.)
Think Coen needs more time. I also like Flores and Vrabel as candidates, but, Flores has that whole racial discrimination allegation and throwing of the Miami Dolphins organization under the bus for tanking for Tua that will hurt his chances. Vrabel I wonder if he'd just be the same here as he was with the tacks. A bit of an overachiever that will bring in a tough, gritty approach on defense with the ground game but may never excel beyond the first round of the play-off's, which is just a slight upgrade over Pederson.

Hehe, don't forget Flores brought the Texans in to the allegation as well, despite them having 3 black coaches (2 at the time) in a row (???). And I agree on Vrabel as well. What is strange is that he was brought in as a HC coach despite him having the 32nd ranked defense in his one year as the Texans Defensive Coordinator (2017).
Now Vrabel figured out the defense while in Tennessee, but I don''t know what he brings to the table in terms off his offensive preferences. One thing I think the Jaguars should take into account is the relationship between Trevor and the new coach/GM. I still feel like the top resources need to be directed to the Oline (despite the current investment) until they become at least average at a minimum.

The ONLY person to ever hire Leftwich in the NFL was Arians. He was Arians Press Taylor. He has been out of football since 2022.
The fact that he doesn't have a job since being fired, I don't think he has even gone the route of Saban analyst, shows some red flags. The word around the NFL is his ego is too big. If he won't take another job but OC, he won't get another job.

Right. There's a reason for that. Baalke interviewed Leftwich. I didn't. Obviously the guy falls short in some area but on paper he was a great candidate.

Well, I trust your eval more than Baalke's, so there's that.

However, give me some discipline. Give me a team who actually hates rivals. Give me Mike Vrabel at the HC with the BEST option he can get as OC.
I'm in the Vrabel camp.
I just want the Jags to play physical on both sides of the ball...which they don't do now.

It really breaks my heart that Doug didn't work out. Along with most others here, I had no doubt we had found our guy for the long term. Trevor was settling in after the Meyer debacle and the locker room was tight. I'll never forget the atmosphere in the stadium on those consecutive Saturday games in 2022 when we beat the tacks for the conference Championship and then the Chargers in the playoffs. I remember thinking, 'Finally, we've arrived after all those years of suffering.'

no one is going anywhere at the end of the season. Everyone is safe. Both Balke, and doug will use all the injuries as an excuse, and Khan will buy it. Therefore he will keep everyone.
Everyone is safe.

No i'm not copying, and pasting. i typed it out. unfortunately only one going anywhere this off season is Trevor. he will announce his retirement early all du to the dirty play on him. that will be the hit that end Trevors nfl career.
also Mikey you need to double check the afcsouth pickem standings, there should be a 3 way tie with myself, cland, and bryon left town. BLT took the texans as well. the only one he got wrong was jets vs jags. he took Loserville for the win. everyone else took jets.

Believe the model used by the Commanders used during their last chnge in HC & GM, hire an outside search firm and let them do the heavy lifting. I think WAS knocked it out of the park.
Gotta take as many people in the building out of the equation.

Just as a question. Would anyone use a draft pick to try and trade for a HC?
I'm not saying we should, just wonder where people stand on that way of getting a HC.

Our 1st rounder for Tomlin.
A 1st rounder for KOC.
A 1st rounder for McVay.
A 2nd rounder for Shannahan.

If Mike Tomlin, Sean McVay, Mike McDaniel or John Harbaugh was available I would consider it. Idk if i'd give up what the Raiders did for Gruden though.
