Another McCorkle big brain play.

Well he tried earlier and got it picked so…
Mac more focused on talking trash than trying to play.

Willing to give him a shot under a new Oline coach because Rauscher just isn't an NFL caliber Oline coach. But the first round pedigree of Harrison is a sunk cost at this point. We may need to address OT yet again.

Harrison and Little are the tackles the next two seasons.

That's concerning to me. If the OT from LSU or Texas is available this draft i'd strongly consider both of them. Harrison just looks lazy in his blocks its hard to explain, i'm hoping its a coaching thing because he just doesn't play with any fire in his game

That’s because he sucks.

He runs hard but there's just something off with his balance. He still just slips down too often, like his cleats aren't long enough for something.
I'll take the 3pts i fuess
Mac's been decent today. Reminder, he's a back-up guys, a 6th RD investment. He's sure as hell played A LOT better than C.J Beathard from last year. It's possible this team would have made the post season last year when Lawrence was out had we had a better back-up QB situation.

Which was always his problem in New England. Can't fault his fight and effort but his inability/wariness of throwing deep will keep him a backup.

One was the first overall pick along with a 6 figure contract

One is not.

True but he is a 1st round pick.
BTJ was wide [BLEEP] open on that 3rd down and would have been an easy TD.

The value won't be there for them. With or without Baalke in the picture, so far, the top five is shaping out to be defensive heavy prospect wise. I would take Travis Hunter, Will Johnson or Mason Graham over Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks Jr. at this time. Harrison hasn't been too bad this year. Unless I am missing something. Prior to today the last game I recall where he was getting handled was against the Bills or Lions maybe.

McDonald is a damn good pass rusher. Matter of fact, myself and a few folks on this message board were telling people this over in the college forum two years ago. I liked him as a late RD1 option for us or an early RD2 option. Was surprised the Jets took him in the middle of RD1 but he's been one of the premier pass rushers on a bad football team in 2024.

That's assuming Doug would have allowed a backup to play last year over a beat to hell tlaw. But maybe if they had a backup they had more confidence in...who knows

I'm with you. Harrison has been solid but not great. He's still young and has some bad plays but plenty of plays where he does his job. There's not a lot of Oline talent out there and I think we have a scheme/coaching issue more than guys who are bad players. We definitely need to address Oline this offseason but it's not as much of a priority as D line and the D for me.

why would you except a QB to look for his number 1 receiver?

With the season, I would now rather have the 6th round pick and the #1 pick while playing the season out with CJ.

Hate that mentality. I want the team to win. Regardless of situation and what's on the line.
I still think unnecessary roughness is such a stupid call

If it's a normal damn tackle and not a Trevor guillotine let them play sport man
