We have a tenant from Columbia who has been here 6 years on a work visa with his family (Wife + 2 kids).  He applied for citizenship via his sponsor and it has been delayed for over 2 years.  He informed me a few months ago that things were once again progressing toward obtaining citizenship.  Here's the kicker ..... for 6 years, his wife was not eligible to seek a job due to their classification and now his oldest son, who came here at age 15 is now 21 and considered on his own (even though he is finishing up college) and will not be eligible to obtain citizenship with his family.  He must apply as a single adult and be sponsored. This could result in him being an illegal immigrant in the near future.

I know this is a very unique situation but there's something wrong with our system when families are broken up because of red tape in our process.

My question is:  Does Trump and HRC allow for this family to become citizens together or even allow for the eldest son to remain in the US due to the citizenship delays that was beyond their control.

Quote:Hillary is certainly no viable choice. So, your stance defies all logic. She'd be #3 of 3 on any sane person's list.

That's your opinion. And I respect that.

My opinion is the exact opposite of yours.

So 53% of the population are going to be deemed insane in November.

I may have to take out some stock in the medical industry
Quote:Many Trump voters including myself didn't even care much about the wall...

We want the border enforced... which if you think Obama or Bush had been doing that, you're an idiot.

Quote:TAM is a special kind of psychopath it seems. Remember when he claimed that blacks belonged to the Democrats because of the color of their skin? Trump's "racism" pales in comparison of his own, he just needs to look in the mirror. He is hysterical about this, has been trying to bully and shame us (not Trump), and its disturbing.

Trump said that he would enforce the laws that exist more aggressively, he has said this from the beginning. He can say he wants to help them all he wants, but by enforcing the laws, tripling ICE, enforcing e-verify, denying welfare, denying the vote, denying their ability to get a drivers license, repealing the statute protection birthright citizenship, building the wall, etc it appears like he is giving them a choice of either living in miserable squalor in the US or go back to your originating nation.

Regardless, Trump's "soft stance" on immigration still obliterates Hillary the bigots, plus he is still against TPP, pro-lower taxes, pro-2a, pro-border security, pro immigration moderation, anti-visa, anti-war, etc etc etc

Trump could flip on 50% of his policies and still be better than that saggy corrupt scumbag Hillary.

TAM...It's being implied you're an idiot, not sane, a sad clown, psychopath, etc

Why? Because you're not a Trump supporter?

Where have I heard this stuff before?

part of the problem is they have made it close to impossible to obtain citizenship legally.  this forces more to use the illegal route, at which point Obama calls a stand down on the border and lets anybody come across.

"BUT HE HAS DEPORTED A BUNCH"  After he purposefully told the border patrol to stand down.  Then when they get back to their home country, they turn around and come back in through the WIDE OPEN border.

I bet you that this specific situation is one both republicans and democrats could agree upon.

This family deserves their citizenship. They are here, contributing to the country, and have spent their time in the USA following the rules.

because it makes no sense to be "against government corruption" and vote for the woman who is the most documented corrupt politician around

Because he is not a Trump supporter? Hardly.

More likely because he takes extremely illogical positions, bullies/shames people for not believing like he does, acts like a snob, and has endorsed the Chaos Champion of Tzeentch Hillary Clinton.

Ok. That's your rational?Because he" endorsed the the Chaos Champion of Tzeentch Hillary Clinton."[/quote]

You'll be ok. Donald will disappoint him. He claims he already has 95% of African American votes locked up.

By 2020.

Ok, well my wife tells me that I do tend to act like a snob when I argue. So there's not much I can do there...

But, I take exception to the bullying and shaming thing.

I've said several times that I do not consider anyone on this forum anything but a good person that is voting on their own beliefs.

I have tried very hard to make the distinction that my problem is with trump and no one in the jungle.

If you think I'm acting like a bully, then call me out on it when it happens and I'll stop.

It's not my intention to make enemies here. And if that is occurring with you, JW then I would like to try and correct that.

It was a joke, Ringo...you know, Warhammer? Do we need to make an avatar bet that Hillary Clinton is not actually the Chaos Champion of Tzeentch?

Thanks for the well-worded response.

Our current path is proof that Idiocracy is a documentary for eight years running.

Looks like it's going to be permanent at this pace.

Situations like this are exactly what 8 senators addressed a long time ago.  It was shot down because of partisan politics primarily by those on the far right basically calling it "amnesty".  It's a good example of why career politicians need to be voted out of office on both sides of the aisle.

I would say that it's never going to happen, but if an "outsider" happens to be elected President, there might possibly be at least a little bit of shakeup in Washington DC.
