Would be a high price
01-06-2025, 01:53 AM
Nope. He would cost too much to get, is currently 30 years old, and is a bit of a pain in the [BLEEP]. BTJ needs a WR that complements his skillset, not a WR that would whine about not being the featured WR every week. Jags need to find somebody who understands they are meant to be the 2nd receiver, behind BTJ and constantly fending off Washington and Gabe Davis. Washington impressed me the last couple weeks and looks ready to solidify his spot as the #3 receiver.
The idea of a Higgins has grown on me. He has played second fiddle since he came into the league and is clearly comfortable with that role. Can the Jags lure him away from Cincy with a deal that makes sense for both the him and the Jags? Doubt it, but he's the kind of player they should be looking for.

No

Nope. He'll go back to Kansas City anyway on a one to two year contract. We can draft McMillan to pair up with Brian Thomas Jr. for the next four years at the minimum and fix everything else from there. We really need to add another competent and capable talent that can move the sticks. McMillan would give us that.

I don’t think he’s worth it with his questionable character but him AND BTJ? Good god
[BLEEP] no.
Dude just signed a 3 year deal and is pouting because the team stank out loud while Tua was out and missed the playoffs by a game.
Dude would go "nucular" if he got stuck on this team, and no way I want that child-beating headcase near our franchise. He's getting old, but he ain't aging gracefully.

I’d take him as GM.

Locker room cancer and speed guy who will be 31 next season. I'll take Tee Higgins instead

We need to stop with the expensive veteran free agents.

I'll say exactly what I said all three times OBJ hit free agency or trade block.
Keep that cancer as far away as possible.

"Even if he's released"

I think he said he wanted to work in grown up films.
Regardless, nope.

Tyrek Hill strikes me as a Randy Moss/Ocho Cinco/Terrell Owens type of guy. You only bring him in to a well-established team to push you through the playoffs once you've been stuck a few times. The Jaguars need more natural core guys before they get to that point.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! He would be very very bad for the Jaguars. Higgens is a good player, but his problom lately is hes been injury prone. Higggens has been out more hurt then he's played, adn unfortunately so has Trevor lately.

At the right price, I'd love to have Tyreek here. That said, he's expensive so we need to focus on building the OL and DL with players that have size and technique ..... everything in which Baalke has failed the Jags.

I doubt Hill would do well at Guard, anyhoo. Better off looking elsewhere.

Leverage wins! The low man wins! I can see Hill pushing Hamilton uphill during practices this summer. We'll have Ben Johnson scheming up something wild.
Hill at guard, deliberately takes a fall and gets "taken out of the play" by his defender. Lawrence has a designed roll out to the right or left, Hill gets back up and it's a sneaky screen play design. Championship!
