Give some suggestions of guys he should pick up

To be honest, i think hes looked bad these first 2 games plus at the joint practices.
Fowler got pressure and a hit on Winston on a third down causing Winston to overthrow. But we got a penalty on the same play giving them the first down.

I think T.J Yates is available. Matt Flynn, Michael Vick to name a few that would be upgrades over Henne.
The Bucs should not be pleased with their performance today...

Our team/the refs bailed them out MULTIPLE times today - otherwise their offense would have have been stonewalled on basically every possession.

Honestly couldn't we have brought in Nick Foles? I think he'd have been a solid back up.
I still think the bucs gave up on Glennon too soon.  They guy looks pretty good out there.

Back to our beloved jags, the run game looks significantly better.  Ivory is a Stud.

pass coverage is much tighter than in the past at all levels of the defense.

Passrush is still hit or miss but we are actually moving the line of scrimmage which is something we haven't seen the last.. 5 years?

McCray seems to always have pretty tight coverage despite allowing some catches I don't think I am ready to give up on him.

Offense looks great in general.

Im really worried about Poz. He looked super slow and taking horrible angles tonight.
It's nice that perhaps our most glaring need on offense is a back up QB
Tebow?

Just kidding.

Blake had some high throws tonight, he needs to settle down, luckily A Rob is a beast. Defense is an issue, way too many penalties and like the OP said, lack of pass rush is glaring. Still, a much better secondary, Ramsey and Jack both looked really good as well.

Fowler is a JAG. Just a guy.

Agree. Most of his throws were slightly off.

Glad the book is out on him before he has even played a single regular season game. We should cut bait now and move on.

No doubt. Maybe even flog him.
1. Offense has so many options when Lee and Thomas are healthy.

2. Defense will struggle early, but should improve significantly by mid-season. Ramsay, Gipson and Jackson are major upgrades and Fowler will improve each week.

It is disappointing that the initial impression of him was not accurate, but he should still become a solid player with time.

3. Special teams still look very poor. They need to get better fast or may cost the Jaguars a game or two.

At this point, the Jaguars look like a 500 team. Whether that will be enough to keep Gus remains to be seen.

I hope you're joking.
If we don't see a significant upgrade in Allen's play very soon, I've gone over other team's rosters to see which QB's might get cut and who we might want to bring in. Here is what I got, (in no particular order.)

Sean Mannion

Matt Simms

David Fales

Bryce Petty

Keith Wenning

Austin Davis

Dustin Vaughn

Aaron Murray

Kevin Hogan

Kevin Hogan has all the qualities of a lifetime backup.

Foles still isn't signed?

I like tj Yates as a backup too.
