The sad thing is she will probably never go to prison.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that

Oh she's going to prison.. Sans wig and [BLEEP] hats..

Edit.. I see someone got their panties in a twist over the word [BLEEP].. Doesn't surprise me. It's a lil pansy liberal world. Hurt feelings and all..

Thats ok.. I can substitute the word [BLEEP] for "Ugly liberal face".. Same damn thing..
Yeah... she deserves every day she gets.   This type of thing, in my opinion, isn't a sudden change in personal ethics, but rather a character flaw that has been around since opportunity presented itself.

They may keep her out for 6-9 months, and then she will be gone......

Justice. Notice the libreal lackeys aren't commenting?
18 of 22 WOW she's done

I doubt if she sees a day behind bars.  They're keeping her out for at least the next 90 days to await sentencing.  My bet is after she is sentenced they will work something out to keep her out pending and appeal.

probably get 90 days in jail (suspended) and a year or two of home supervision and probation for 10 years

Another sad thing is that the only MSM including cable networks that actually reported on this was FOX News (on the front page shortly after the verdict), NPR and CBS News, though CBS had it buried under their "politics" sub-section.  It was finally picked up by CNN (probably reluctantly) and was buried in small print under the "politics" section of their website.

It was also finally picked up and buried by the NYT under their "politics" section again in small print.  What is even more telling regarding this story is that it doesn't even mention that she is a democrat unless you read down roughly 10 paragraphs or so.

CNN has become no better than tabloid.  The nonsense you used to see at the checkout lane.  Narratives without actual news reporting.

All of them are like that now, CNN leading the race to the bottom.

I never would have guessed mainstream "news" would have sunk so low during my lifetime.  You could choose any of them and not question what was being presented and how.

Now, I don't trust any of them.  You have to compare all the different spinning of of a story, even before you can determine whether or not it's even news to begin with.

It's revolting, the more you think about it.  An insult to intelligence, a disservice to the public.

But, the most sinister part is... it's not without design.

Very true.  Part of my "daily news reading routine" includes scanning the headlines on Drudge, FOX, CNN, CBS, Reuters, NYT, WSG and Investor's Business Daily.  When a story like this comes out, I like to compare headlines as well as content to see what is being "reported".  If you do a google search right now (a little over 24 hours since the announcement) for "corrine brown convicted" the top hits are NPR then the local stations and Florida Times Union.

What is interesting is that CBS News and the New York Times turns up some hits, but clicking on the hits shows the story buried on what would be "the back page" of a print newspaper.  The FOX News hit doesn't show up until you look at the second page of the search results, even though it was a "breaking news" headline on their website when the verdict was announced.

If this would have been a white male republican, you can bet that it would have been the headline on just about every national publication or news media organization.
