Hint: It's Walter Jones.
Best #28 ever is Marshall Faulk.
Best #32 ever is Edgerrin James.
Best #8 ever is Steve Young.
Don't the Jags have anyone on the list? A kicker? Long snapper?
Oh yeah, who is the best ever #82?
I guess it's Jimmy's week. Congratulations again, Jimmy Smith. Best NFL player in history to wear the number 82.
Edgerrin James over O.J. Simpson?
Blake's coming for your spot, McNabb...
Myles Jack is coming for your spot Riggins
Roddy White over Randy Moss?
Kind of a fun read really. Makes you wonder who will be replaced sooner than later.
Should a rookie ask for #38 because it's an easy path to be the best at that number?
Or should he refuse #38 because it's jinxed?

Moss wore 81 with both the Raiders and Patriots, so those stats are thrown out. Here are the #84 numbers from both from the Reddit page this was posted at:
Roddy White 84 Stats: 171G, 149 GS, 808 Catches, 10863 Yards, 63 TD's.
Randy Moss 84 Stats: 109G, 104 GS, 484 Catches, 9142 Yards, 90 TD's
From the same page, someone pointed out that Moss' AV (which the rankings are based on) for the number 84 is 104, Roddy's is 107. Moss is no doubt the superior player, but they are pretty close in terms of stats under #84.

. I'd be interested to see James numbers compared to MJD? It's not all about numbers but I'm not sure James was better. OJ different story however.
Quote:Those 90TDs though...
With around 6 or 7 different QBs throwing too him too.

Roddy stats are 62 more games played, 324 more catches for only 1700 more yards and 37 less tds. Moss did way more in way less time.

I'm not arguing that Roddy deserves it, I'm just showing how they determined who got each spot. The fact that Moss got his numbers more efficiently is irrelevant to AV. Those 300+ and 1700+ extra yards evidently were worth slightly more value than Moss' 37 TDs.
