The former VCU Basketball player has been on Scouts' radar for a while now and is going to go through a workout in Richmond VA. Reportedly, there are 20 teams that are verified to attend but I have no idea if Jacksonville is one of them. Thing is, he's a Grad Student so he is not eligible for the draft, he's a Free Agent and can be signed immediately.

I know that basketball-player-to-Tight-End is the popular go here, but I've seen him play and I think he is violent enough to be a Defensive End. He's listed at 6' 7" / 250 lbs, but we'll see what the "real" numbers are at the workout. While he is light, I think he has the frame to add the bulk necessary for the Line. That being said, he may present more value at the Tight End spot and the matchup issues that creates.

Any thoughts on this guy?

The other day I was in a conversation about how much better the NFL would be if all the best tall athletes didn't opt for basketball because of how much more money they can make with a much smaller risk of injury. There are many players in the NBA who would be sensational NFL players, but so few are willing to make the move.

Imagine lebron in his prime. Wpuld have been the best tight end to ever put on a jersey.
Shaq would sure make things interesting.

I was named after Kellen Winslow, and so I naturally must disagree Tongue
Lonzo Ball is a better passer than Bortles.

Sr is probably my all time favorite TE.

You hush! You'll give away the surprise!

He hasn't played football since high school, so I don't think there's really much to say about him. He wasn't very good at basketball, those are my thoughts.
