Quote:We went through the largest expansion of government debt in the history of the planet. We defacto nationalized 1/6th of the economy. We did nationalize student loans.

We still haven't reached 3% annual GDP, average people still can't afford to go to the doctor, and 40% of all college students can't afford their student loans.

Our service on the debt is now greater than the defense budget.

And in the middle of targeted assassinations on officers (pigs as you call them) hearkening back to 20 ×#%\% years ago is a callous anti social brand of intellectual dishonesty that i can't relate to.

You can be so curmudgeonly sometimes.

Police murders are down under Obama compared to the last 25-30 years. Look it up.

We've always nationalized the risk of student loans, but privatized the interest income. Obama just cut out the banks, since we the people are covering the risk, we the people -not the banks- should get the interest income.

Your issue with the aca is anecdotal and misleading.

Again, things aren't perfect. They aren't apocalyptic like trump is implying...
Quote:Not all bad no.

Wages are stuck in neutral. But they have been for a long time.

We have been crawling out of the recession as if we have had 50 LB weights wrapped around our ankles - http://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/james-sherk/seven-years-after-great-recession-obamas-economy-still-crawling.

Black people have actually faired worse under Obama than any other race.

Rising costs for health care, food, living expenses, etc... is going to make for a very poor middle class especially in retirement years for this generation. If wages stay in neutral and everything else goes up, how are people supposed to save? We may see more and more working class love pay check to pay check than ever before.

By the end of his Presidency Obama will have added more national debt than any other President before him. Granted, no Presidents have added to the debt like George Bush (younger one) and Obama have. I think this will be looked at as one of the worst things about his Presidency in the future. So Obama will have spent almost 10 Trillion when it is all said and done and this is what we have to show for it? Just doesn't seem to justify the spending. Did we forget that we have to budget? Eventually this will lead to something catastrophic for our nation. Once Faith is lot in the market, there is no market and once people see paper instead of money, we will have a big problem on our hands. And we don't have much to show for it besides a slow growing economy that has been that way for 7 years.

The financial meltdown should have led to arrests under Obama. It just showed that money and power are above the law. Clinton anyone? To be fair, I think Republicans are just as corrupt in this regard. Big banks are still too big to fail. You would think we would learn our lesson. That would be a big newp.

Race relations are at an all time low and Obama hasnt really don't anything to improve the heart of the problem. The communities themself. We can blame the cops for somethings, but we can't blame them for everything. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror.

There's alot here that is legit...

But I wonder, and this goes out to all Obama critics, how much blame is also laid at the feet of a congress that decided not to work to resolve these issues with Obama.

There's only so much a president can do. And this congress beginning in 2011 was an abysmal failure.
Quote:What do you democrats see in Hillary? Serious question. Because I've yet to personally talk to someone who actually supports her. Aside from this message board, that is.

I support her. I have my reasons, and they are more than just my distrust of Drumpf and his "family".
The mortgage industry was nationalized also. Virtually all home loans are dumped onto bankrupt Fannie and Freddie as soon as the ink dries.

Actually, I thought the Trump kids did fine.

Others? Christie, Guiliani, et al solution to winning? Scaring the piss out of everyone and arresting and locking up their opponent.

I'm trying to rack my brain on where I've heard the same strategy before.
Quote:So democrats are upset because trump or at least his daughter is a democrat?

I'm not a Democrat lol, I'm upset because the only two options this cycle are north eastern democrats
Life seems good to me! Not sure what Doofus Trump is seeing. My 401k is kiling it. My mortgage is officially paid off. Seems like life is pretty kick butt.

Nobody claiming to be a millionaire. Just don't feed me that BS about how bad the country is. Its been worse.

The fact that they saved it after 2007 is simply miraculous, although you'll never hear Team Right talk about that.

We are in a a much better position that we liked should have been.
A trump presidency will be interesting just to see who he blames after the wall is up and the Muslims are banned. Time to turn on the gays and really get those sceptical conservatives on side.
Not sure if any of you noticed the song playing after Trump's speech, but the Rolling Stones aren't happy about it.

Interesting choice of songs for a Presidential candidate.

There is a great story of Keith Richards NEEDING TO BE RESTRAINED FROM STABBING DONALD TRUMP. They had a "disagreement" about "taking credit for the steel wheels concert in Tampa". IIRC... Google it

That's the hypocrisy of the left. They sell their agenda on how bad things are.

But when the other side says it, they disagree. It's reflexive their rejection of any opposing view. If R's say anything, they immediately oppose/reject it without even listening.

Yes, Congressional Democrats have done absolutely nothing to reach out to the other side, even after so many on the right taking a sharp left turn lately.

It's what 0bama meant by his "back of the bus" statement. He's not working with anyone who doesn't agree with him. He stands around and waits for those to kiss his ring.

What D's can't admit... is that he's pretty much had free run on policy. There's been little or no resistance at all. So, that excuse doesn't fly.

Congress was destroyed around 2000-2002. It's been nothing but downhill since.
