Here's one that'd be perfect....

I'm sure it will look amazing, but I do think they could have used a more flattering exterior rendering viewed at a different angle.

See, this is much better than the still renderings. Anyone who thinks that this is ugly is either trolling or blind.

I liked the original concept better but I still dig this. It surely beats old Metro Park.
I like it, should improve the over all look of that entire area.

Looks fricking awesome. And still more to come.

What I want to know is... What is with the giant War of the Worlds spider?
I went back and looked at the old rendering which are much better than this. I wonder why they watered it down?

Since it looks like it's only big enough for one field, will the other practice fields still be used when they need more room, as in this week joint practices?

Because the original was just a rendering and they only have so much money to spend?
I think it looks great...giant spiders and all. Will be fun to see it grow throughout the year. Can't wait to see how they unveil it next May.

This.

Nearly all initial designs are watered down from the initial proposals once the cost of materials and construction starts being looked at alongside the design fee.

I work on some pretty interesting and wild designs on the structural engineering end. The new design, while not as visually stunning, is going to be MUCH cheaper to build than the original and, IMO still looks very good. I am personally a huge fan of exposed structure as a design element.

I would assume that the practice facility would only be used in inclement weather (ie. lightning).

Good question!!!
I think it is safe to say Khan has his eyes set on the Draft.
^ 2018, book it!

Tom Coughlin would use it as much as possible, and insist on blinds.
Shad Khan is planning on bringing the draft to Jacksonville. Cool to have an owner who is forward thinking.

This would be a cool idea but I just don't see it. Unless the decide to hold the draft in multiple cities.
