Gray*

From what little I have seen of Gray, he strikes me as being more reliable than DRob. From what little I have seen of Corey Grant, he strikes me as being more of a TD threat than DRob. One of these three won't make it, and my hunch is DRob will end up the odd back out.


 

We'll see though. Gray is not exactly a shoe-in over DRob, but I think he'd give them more overall options. Whatever happens, I wish they'd abide by NFL regulations by listing DRob at RB only instead of at RB/WR which is clearly an all-out lie.

They really should make him pick a number between 20 and 49. Let's see... 38, 40, 43 and 45 are available, although the Jaguars don't have any RBs wearing numbers in the 40s meaning 38 would make the most sense. 28 and 32 are also available, but those were FT's and MJD's numbers respectively so the Jaguars probably don't care to hand those out.

Am I the only one who feels this argument is getting long in the tooth?

 

IMO, we've gone from well below average to average over the past few years.

it's been poor for at least the past couple seasons. Yeldon brought somewhat of a boost, but the holes are just not there for most of the games.

 

the argument is not old. it's just been a long time since we were able to really move the pile.

It's obvious what your stance is and that it's quickset.  Would rather discuss it with others willing to actually discuss it.

 

Our oline has been much worse in the past.

 

It's been a longer time since we've had a quality stable at RB.  There's a difference between RBs not making plays and lines unable to move the pile.  Yet, I feel both will be improved.  With the additions we've made in both areas, it's the logical conclusion.

outside of Parnell and Linder, there isn't much I like about the line.

I was sitting a few rows up in that end zone and saw that disaster of a play. Ugh.

Yep.


It's only left of center that raises concern.

Linder/Cann/Parnell should be deadly in the run game and provide adequate protection.

It's more than that. DRob wears 16 to honor his brother who died when he was a kid.

Cann says hey

I watched all of jags games last year and TJ had a couple of good games. He does dance too much in the back field and he just does not have the extra break away speed when he gets to the 2nd level. He's had a couple of opportunities to take it to the house and he's always stumbling. Just what I saw.
