and they were there for a year! They also stole the Trump opposition playbook...

How could one party (and its candidate) be so inept? I knew the Republicans were bad, but Democrats take it to the next level.

And yet, since 1988 only once has the Republican candidate gotten more votes in a general election than the Democratic candidate.

Odd.

As the plot of Idiocracy comes to fruition, there will be many more democratic voters.

This, unfortunately. Democrats control the educational system, the media, and the flow of low-skilled welfare-seeking immigrants into this country. Without a doubt in my mind this is the last election Republicans have to win the presidency before we are essentially a one-party state.

You would think these people would eventually learn about empty promises. Doesn't appear to be the case.

Do guys ever get tired of the us vs. them shtick? The predictability level seems to be at an all time high. "Your party is dishonest and makes promises they can't keep... Uh ugh, your party does that." I really love those criticizing Trump yet make no mention of Hillary. Do you guys really believe all of this political garbage? Has Repubiclan radio warped your minds to the point where there is no coming back? Has the liberal narrative really made you feel superior to anyone who thinks differently than you? Aren't you all tired of being brainwashed by both parties into believing anything you say or vote on really matters? The wealthy who control it all just sit back and laugh.

Is it really any different than sports? multiple teams, fan of one, root against the others. The wealthy who control it all just sit back and laugh.

Sure, but fence sitting accomplishes nothing. Pick a party, faction, cauase, whatever, and support it. I support anti-globalism which is why I supported Ron Paul in 2012 and Trump in 2016.

Is it? No, but it should be. This is real life and our future. Football is entertainment.

But if our vote doesn't matter and wealthy control everything, so what is really the difference in "real life" and entertainment?

You can have an opinion and view point while also staying open minded and recognizing how insanely hypocritical both parties are. We all come from different backgrounds and those backgrounds go a long way to shaping our viewpoints. I think we would accomplish a hell of a lot more considering why someone would have a certain view point based on their perspective. No one seems to be interested in that. They'd rather prove why their right instead of thinking how they could be wrong or stopping for a moment and think, why would someone have that view point? What is their reasoning? Does it have merit? Etc... Just frustrating listening to people criticize other view points while sticking their fingers in their ears yelling la, la, la, la...
But that's everyone's favorite song...
My question is, if the DNC was hacked in 2015/2016, what happened with Hillary Clinton's private email server?

The people have more power than they think.  Power comes in numbers, but right now we are so pitted against each other we are losing site of that.  I do think, though, with Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump making waves it has opened the doors for others and showed it isn't impossible.  It isn't about agreeing with each other.  Just knowing that those who consider themselves Republican or Democrat or Independent are not that much different from each other.  Many things one side thinks the other is fighting for gets turned into a headline.  For instance, Hannity constantly repeating Bernie is an old socialist angry curmudgeon.  Or Trump is Hitler.  And we Americans fall for that crap time and time and time again.  That people who are poor want hand outs and people who are rich are greedy and on and on and on...  It isn't even about the issues.  The real issues when you pull back the curtain and try and look at things objectively.  How can you?  From the radio to the TV you are being pumped with headlines, one liners and bias points of view with absolutely zero context.  "I want this country to be great and for us to be proud to be Americans and lower taxes and make everyone rich and blah, blah, blah."  Then people cheer and no one really knows why they are cheering because there is no substance.  Just rhetoric.  But hey, it is fun when others agree with you and you can talk about "Obama is just terrible and ruining this country."  Why?  "Well, he is a Muslim sympathizer who is destroying this country, taking away our guns and our gun rights, is killing our economy, etc..."  But how?  "What?  He just is now stop asking me for details."  My son who is six does not like Obama.  Why?  Because my grandmother does not like Obama.  So I ask him why don't you like Obama and he says "because I don't like him."  That about sums up half the people (not referring to this board) I have discussions with whether on social media or in person.  Main point is guns and taking away guns even though more people bought guns under his Presidency then any other.  No matter how great of a point he makes (the driving example being an extremely good and logical one), Obama isn't trying to make gun ownership safer, he wants to take all of your guns.  It doesn't matter if he said it or not, because Rush Limbaugh said so.  And by the way, I did not vote for Obama and I don't think he has done the best job, but he has done good things just like every President before him.  Anyways, that is my rant.

Putin likes Trump. DNC hacked by Ruskies? Coincidence?

Trump.." You won't beleeeeve what they found"

What Donald?

" You just won't believe it, believe me"

Da.
Democrats aren't very good at this internet/computer thing, huh? Who knew these cup holders also held free AOL trial disks too.

I can certainly understand your rant.  As I've said before, this campaign has become an "American Idol" thing.  That's pretty much how we ended up with at least one of the leading candidates.

I personally don't like President Obama because I feel that he has failed in his job as being a leader.  His priority seems to be to make this country PC and avoid (ignore) the danger(s) that this country faces.

For perhaps the first time in our brief history, we are leaving the country worse off to our children and/or grandchildren.  The choice of the next "leader" is down to two different criminals that are after nothing more than the power and prestige of The Presidency for their own personal gain.

Its funny that you bring this up.  I have never seen this movie, but a lot of my liberal friends and conservative friends reference it consistently to validate their own points of view.  I guess that is why it appeals to people.
