I by no means support Donald Trump, but what is happening at his political rally's is not only getting out of hand , it's getting downright offensive.  If people want to protest that's one thing.  However, when people show up committing violence against attendees of a political rally, that's another thing.  What is offensive to me, and should be to all U.S. citizens is when our flag is burned and the flag of a foreign country is being waived.

What makes matters worse is when the Mayor of the city blames the candidate rather than the thugs.

Quote:

The mayor of San Jose, Democrat Sam Liccardo, reacted angrily to the events. Not that he was particularly upset at the violent mob that attacked innocent Americans, of course. No, his ire was directed at Mr. Trump. "At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign," the mayor said. Apparently it was downright "irresponsible" of Trump to even set foot in California's third largest city.

As I said before, I don't support Donald Trump, but blaming this violence at his events on him or his campaign is out of line.

Both sides are wrong, but get ready for more of it.
It is getting very out of hand, lately. Both conventions are going to be extremely ugly. I will post the links/videos of the San Jose riot last night here too.

Violence of any kind should never be tolerated. Don't do it. It's dumb and in no way shape or form helps to get your message to other people. The only message it send is you are an idiot and an awful person.

May be both sides can knock each other unconscious and the rest of can have a nice cup of tea and wait for all this to blow over.

There is a difference though.  Advocating for people to defend themselves is one thing.  Showing up with the intention of causing violence, burning the U.S. flag and waving a foreign country's flag is another.
Back in March, MoveOn.org announced they would disrupt every Trump rally leading up to the general election, starting with the fiasco in Chicago. They claimed that these would be non violent protests, but they pandered to the people they knew could be manipulated into escalating from peaceful protests to violent ones. They used that opportunity to fundraiser to pay for these organized "protests" at his rallies.

These are not organic protests coming from the grass roots. These are rent-a-mobs that are organized and directed by MoveOn.org, ACORN, the Teamsters, and even by mysterious PACs supporting Sanders and Clinton.

At a protest in Arizona, a shady group called "Women Are the Future" put an ad out on Craigslist hiring "protesters" to help facikitate chaos at a Trump rally. They instructed their bad actors to start talking about how great Beenie Sanders was if they were questioned by the media or authorities, and to keep their organization out of the discussion.

<a class="bbc_url" href='http://abcnews.com.co/donald-trump-protester-speaks-out-i-was-paid-to-protest/'>http://abcnews.com.co/donald-trump-protester-speaks-out-i-was-paid-to-protest/</a>

They're recruiting anyone looking for a check, they're pressing illegals to participate, and they're paying people to fan the flames to maximize the mob mentality in attacking Trump supporters.

This isn't conspiracy, it's fact. You've got a combination of union thugs and progressive PACs like MoveOn financing this violence, hoping to get camera time that's edited in a way that portrays the instigators as Trumpsters. Other than a few isolated incidents that the media continues to focus on, that hasn't been the reality. The media is having a difficult time trying to spin this as a Trump creation, but that hasn't stopped them from trying. When the mayor of a city, who is a huge Hillary supporter, tries to lay this at the feet of Trump, he's just being the good little drone he's expected to be. They all know the truth, but they know the playbook all too well. Create chaos and confusion, post videos that have been edited for the purposes of making it look like Trumpsters are the instigators, and then howl to the mouthpiece media.

It's a sad testimony of where we are as a nation, and even worse when the protesters are waving Mexivan flags and demanding California be given back to their homeland. Frankly, I'd be fine with giving it back.
Both conventions are going to be a tinder box environment. The difference is that the protesters who will be invading Cleveland will be paid and organized by the usual suspects. The convention in Philly will resemble a G8 summit with anarchists going nuts to show their anger that Bernie Sanders got "robbed" by the party machine.
It's 1968 all over again

I was referring to the guy in Michigan.  Anyways, it doesn't really matter.

Here is a list of some of the violence at his rallies.  It hasn't been updated in a few weeks. A lot of the violence is just against protesters in general, not people who were initially violent.  You can add San Jose to the list. Oh, and no, no one feels bad for the idiot the police choked out.

The last thing Hillary wants is to have one of these protestors her campaign is hiring actually kill someone.

How would Hillary deal with a death she caused on her conscience? Oh, wait...
What's funny here is that every time these protesters act out like this, they damage their cause a little bit more, and they strengthen the resolve of those opposed to them. By doing what they're doing, they're going to elect Trump.

Yeah, I don't think that's going to be a problem. The list is long, and not so distinguished.

The thing is, why does this violence only happen at one particular candidate's functions and not the others?  Is it "protesting" when the U.S. flag is burned and a foreign flag is hoisted up?
Quote:Yeah, I don't think that's going to be a problem. The list is long, and not so distinguished.

I disagree with the "not so distinguished" part.  I would bet that the family of Ambassador John Christopher "Chris" Stevens would disagree.  I do agree that the list is long though.

Yes to the first part at least. There was even a Supreme Court case about it. Several cases in fact.
Trump doesn't help things any. He eggs people on and then encourages his supporters to "get 'em outta here". To borrow an old saying, it takes two to tango, and Trump's apparent enjoyment of watching his supporters respond violently to protesters in rallies doesn't help things.

That said, if a certain crazy-haired old socialist and a felonious battleaxe would stand at a podium together and loudly condemn the protests, they'd largely stop. But they won't do that. Nor will the Donald quit inciting his supporters to respond violently whether the protester is throwing bitter words or hard punches. Know why? Because those protests serve their purpose for both sides. Trump gets to be the Pink Floyd dictator, commanding his supporters to the point where, if he told them to go shoot up a Mexican schoolhouse, they'd ask which gun he wanted them to use. Clinton and Sanders are quietly amassing an army of their own, and when Sanders comes out endorsing Clinton and encouraging all his supporters to get behind her, the hope will be that his mob does everything possible to intimidate Trump voters away from the polls.

TL;DR: this is beyond the point of reconciliation only because neither side wants to reconcile and lose what they're getting from this. The conventions will be nightmarish, and election day will inevitably be marred by violent clashes at polling sites around the country.

La-raza isn't a reaction to trump. Its an anti American group that has asserted Mexican sovereignty over certain border states for a long time. They have been emotionally and intilectually subsidized by the American left/academia for a while. Burning our flag and raising that of another country has nothing to do with a heckler in a crowd being escorted out roughly.

At this point, Nothing Donald Trump has said or his supporters have done would be equivalent to violence and pure barbarism that transpired at San Jose, and this isn't including the many other rallies where riots have also erupted after peaceful private events (Chicago, other Cali locations, Missouri). This country's South-West is being taken over by Mexican nationalists and we are just the boiling frog. Maybe we should deport all the illegals and Mexican nationalists to California and give it to Mexico so we don't have to deal with it anymore? Sounds like a two-for-one special.

Exaggerate much? I promise you, God, guns and the Republican Party are alive and well in the American southwest. The only thing being taken over are the headlines.
