At 6-7, it's not like he was in the mix at G.
As for Omameh, he has as good a chance to start at LG as just about anyone else.
Except previously, the garbage was being signed on Thursday and starting on Sunday.

It does appear we're taking an 'anyone but Joekel' approach.
I love that Dave Caldwell is, making things tougher on Luke Jockel. Most probably think this means he's not happy with Joeckel play, but I look at it another way. He has some competition to overcome before he's named the starter. Unlike Sam Bradford I think competition is a good thing.
At worst, he offers legit starting experience at either Guard spot while serving as a backup. Can't ask for more than that.
Find a Patrick, pick him up, all day long you'll have good luck?
