Kid started all 16 games for the Bucs in 14 and 9 for the Bears last year. Good experience at G and T. Couldn't hurt.

At 6-7, it's not like he was in the mix at G.


 

 

As for Omameh, he has as good a chance to start at LG as just about anyone else.

I love that Dave Caldwell is, making things tougher on Luke Jockel. Most probably think this means he's not happy with Joeckel play, but I look at it another way. He has some competition to overcome before he's named the starter. Unlike Sam Bradford I think competition is a good thing.

At worst, he offers legit starting experience at either Guard spot while serving as a backup. Can't ask for more than that.
