My picks if the draft were to lay out this way would be:

Rd 1: Leonard Fournette - RB - LSU - Jags need to develop a dominant running game to develop a ball control offense to blend with a strong defense

Rd 2: Cam Robinson - OLG - Alabama - Day One Starter and possible OLT in the future

Rd 3: Derek Rivers - DE - Youngstown State - Jags want more pass rush and this guy could develop into a very strong pass rusher especially in a rotation

Rd 4: Adam Shaheen - TE - Ashland - Small school player would could develop into a long term starter

Rd 5: Jarron Jones - DT - Notre Dame - BAP who could provide depth at NG/DT position

WHO are your picks?

Who is the surprise QB in round 1? If it's Mahomes, I've seen more and more mocks putting him in round 1. I doubt he slips to round two.

My draft would look very similar to this minus the 3rd rounder.

id try to move up from our spot in round 3 to get tim williams if he falls that far in round 2. if i couldnt do that id take sidney jones. jones represents way too much value right there. he will sit a year but hes a first round talent.

Howard

Bolles

Rivers

Elder

Asiata

McNichols in round 6 since he doesn't have him going.

Too good to be true though.

I think Mahomes will definitely drop past the 1st round, despite what mock drafts say.

I'll eat crow if otherwise.

I'll eat crow if otherwise.

No chance of that.

I'll take that bet and I'll be back for my bowl of crow if he is taken in the 1st round.

Cardinals are pretty much in love with him...and he's had workouts with 18 different teams. Can't see a world where he makes it out of the top 20 picks.

this would make me cry too
I think I would roll with

1. Howard

2. Bolles

3. Foreman

I like that
1. RB Leonard Fournette ...most immediate improvement to offense.

2. OG/T Cam Robinson ...plays guard day 1 with move to OT later.

3. CB Sidney Jones ...round 1 talent possibly sits season, great investment.

4. TE Adam Shaheen ...big athletic small school with significant upside.

5. QB Brad Kaaya ...add developmental talent to critical position.

Actually... I'm LOVING their picks for the Jaguars. It's a nearly perfect draft...

1. Fournette

2. Evan Engram

3. Caleb Brantley <--love this guy... I still think Stroud looking at him

4. Jourdan Lewis <--in round four this may be the steal of the draft

5. Adam Bisnowaty <--I keep hearing good things about him; great value this late

I think they nailed it.

  1. Leonard Fournette
  2. Cam Robinson
  3. Jake Butt
  4. Rasul Douglas CB WV
  5. David Jones S Richmond

Wow. the Reuters mock is so much better than this one

I like this one the most based on the Reuters mock. My preference in the 1st round is Thomas or Allen, but since both are gone Fournette is the best choice.

Robinson and Jones are amazing value picks, even though Jones may miss most of next season. Jags need to take a tight end and Shaheen would be really good here. If he's gone, Sprinkles would also be a solid choice. Kaaya has a chance to stick with good coaching.
"Fix the offense" mock

1) Lamp

2) Bucky Hodges

3) Corn Elder

4) Jeremy McNichols

5) Freddie Stevenson

Personal choice

1)Thomas

2)Moton

3)Perine

4) Micheal Roberts

5) Xavier Woods

Based on who is available, give me this:

1. Malik Hooker - If he falls to 17, there's a few GMs that just don't know what they're doing.  Allows us to use a single high safety in a cover 1/3, Church can cover the slot and Ramsey/Bouye can cover man on the outside.  With his range, it makes it very hard to throw on our secondary.  Now, he may not start right away due to inexperience, but I see no problem with him playing Dime and backing up Gipson for a few weeks.

2. Cam Robinson - We need a guard and he'd make a very good one IMO.  His biggest weakness is long steps out into space, which he wouldn't need to do at guard.  He'd start day 1 and improve our line quite a bit.

3. D'Onta Foreman - Dude is big, very athletic, and would be an upgrade from Ivory.  For a guy his size, he's also very quick, I think he can be a 3 down back and do well.

4. Adam Shaheen - More upside than the TEs we currently have.  Between him, Koyack, and Lewis, I think we'd be ok at the position for now.  If he hits his upside we'll be good for a while.

5. Same - I'm good with Bisnowaty there.  We need depth, especially if Albert gets hurt and need someone to push Parnell.

1. Leonard Fournette RB - Most talented player on the board. Gives the offense an identity.

2. Cam Robinson G/T- This picks needs to be o-line. Can compete for LG until ready to play tackle.

3. Larry Ogunjobi DT- Quick penetrating 3tech to work into rotation. Steal IMO.

4. Adam Shaheen TE- Our tight ends aren't very good.

5. Isaac Asiate OG- We need to come away with 2 quality offensive lineman. Between Cann, Robinson, Asiata, and Omaneah (spell check?) we should be able to find 2 guards that can open holes for Fournette.
I understand the Cam Robinson picks in round two, but after that, give some more thought to the Reuters mock. Caleb Brantley is a better overall prospect than most of these names being thrown out in round three, and Jourdan Lewis is round four is just sick value. Lewis is a top-notch starting CB.

At TE, while I loved the Engram pick in round two, we can still find guys in round five. In this mock you still have Jeremy Sprinkle, Jannu Smith, Darrell Daniels, Cole Hikutini and Eric Saubert available.

Is Brantley really gonna last to the 3rd round? He seems too good, and I say a guy on NFL network have him going in the 1st yesterday
