Hopefully both Ivory and Yeldon have 600-700 yards each. That would put the combined total to around 1200-1400 yards. Very good production from the running game.

Yeldon had 740 rush yards last year. I hope he doesn't go backwards. The Lions were last in the NFL with 1335 rushing yards total. I hope both estimations wind up being pretty low.

Yeldon jumping to 1k, Ivory being around 600, and Bortles dropping from 350 to 200 would give us around 1,800 and put us in the 10-15 range in the NFL. That's about the sweet spot I'd like to see us in.

Yeah, that's basically what I'm thinking. I'm sure they could get up around 1800 yards if the Jaguars were to commit to the run, but I just don't see them doing that.

Quote:Like Felix Jones and Marion Barber back when the Cowboys were good. 2008 maybe 2009ish if I remember correctly.
When they were good? You mean 95', 96? That was a guy named Emmitt Smith.
The video of Ivory making #76 among the top 100 really shows his power. I've noticed his moves and ability to juke defenders when I watched him, but I hadn't quite realized just how hard nosed he can be. If he's downfield against a smaller LB or DB, he just might mow that guy over like FT used to when he saw a S in the open field.

With Jalen Ramsey out for the season (maybe) let's hope that both TJ Yeldon & Ivory have over a 1000 yards rushing so that the defense is almost never on the field.
