Quote:Still prefer cook over both of them. And not even close. But if out of the picture then Mccafery all day.

Fournette is not impressive. Takes more then a big man for me to gush like a girl.

The fact dude chose to not play his bowl game. Tells me he does not have a team first mentality.

McCaffrey didn't play his bowl game, either.

Well you just contradicted yourself with the "Mccafery" speech.

He skipped out of the bowl game for fear of injury and risking a drop in his draft stock (remember how you were bashing Fournette about this?).
Quote:I can see it.

Mccaffrey is more Westbrook than Charles. Mccaffrey doesn't have that elite speed that Charles has.

I have asked to debate with ya all day. And then take a cheap shot?

I know that. But Mccafery has skills. Fournette does too. But not at 4.
Quote:I see more home run potential in Fournette than I do with Cook. Fournette has the balance to stay on his feet and keep going when he's hit, and if he breaks free he's got that home run speed just like McCaffery and Cook. Fournette is incredibly fast for such a big RB.

What? Cook is the most elusive and bounces off defenders like a ping pong ball.

McCaffrey ran a 4.48, although I'm wondering if his 2nd gear speed is even faster. Charles ran a 4.38, so ok he's faster, but the rest of their combine stats get interesting. They both ran the same 4.22 short shuttle and the same 10' 1" broadjump, atlhough McCaffery has Charles beat on the 3-cone ... McCaffery 6.57 ... Charles 6.80 ... and the vertical jump.. McCaffery 37 1/2" ... Charles 30 1/2".

I didn't mean it as a slight on Cook... I just see Fournette breaking out right and left.

I see a similar Richardson. And I know based on my post. Everyone thinks some sort of vendetta against Fournette. That's really not the case.

I really enjoyed his interview on jaguars.com and seams like a likeable guy.

But we can't afford to make a mistake on pick 4. And when a guy breaks zero records. And can't get more plays or snaps then his team mate.

It draws up red flags. Add in he skipped his bowl game. So the team player aspect flag.

I think at pick four is way too much of a gamble to justify it.

There is always is a reason for lack of playing time. And not a vendetta or favortism.

I have a limited amount of time and energy.   I have posted my opinions, and you can agree or not.   As long as you understand what I said and are willing to think about it, I'm fine with that.

He doesn't understand. Don't waste your time.

I agree their numbers are similar, I think mccaffrey is shiftier at the line than Charles. Charles is more of a one cut and go runner. I'm gonna be honest this thread has made me like mccaffrey more I still like fournette though.

My RB rankings are now

1a. Fournette

1b. Mccaffrey

2. Foreman

3. Cook

Between work, my stations, and family I am busy at least 16 hours a day.

So no don't act like ya work harder than me.

I can't quite top that, although I work 12-hour graveyard shifts.

Given your heavy schedule, I am flattered that you would want to spend your time debating me about Christian McCaffrey.

Perhaps we just have different priorities.   Certainly I would never imply that I work harder than you.   There are just a whole lot of things that I either need to do, or want to do, that come in front of me debating with you about Christian McCaffrey.

No one ever changes their mind anyway.   So "debating" on this message board is an empty exercise.

I've stated my opinion.   Think about what I wrote.

Fair enough

That is very tough hats off.

Don't take me wrong.  I was not trying to imply others don't.   I apologize typed wrong.   Was just saying a lot of us are busy as well.   I am not that type of guy. Who likes to brag.  Wasn't raised that way.
