Sounds weird. Feel bad for their fans. Should be an interesting 2 years in Oakland as they know they are leaving yet are becoming a good team.

Is the NFL expecting tourism to aide in supporting the team? I can't think of anything less I would rather do when going to Vegas than go to a football game.

Gonna be interesting reading some of the stories coming out of there about players getting in trouble.
They should rename the team the Las Vagas Silly Nannies.

Las Vegas is the 29th largest city, by population, in the United States.  I don't know why they would need tourism to support them.

That's the population inside the city limits. The draw for fans extends into the surrounding population. Is there much nearby population outside the LV city limits?

What the hell is the deal with Mark Davis hair?

From what I've read: S. Ross, owner of the Dolphins, voted against the move because he thinks it's wrong to move from the 6th largest market to the 40th.

It's all about market size, not population inside city limits.
There's only 32 teams...how can Las Vegas be the 40th largest market?

Because they don't have a team yet?
The math isn't making too much sense to me.

Yes, my thoughts, too. This sounds like a really bad idea. Raiders should've moved to LA, and Rams should've moved to London to satisfy Goodell's international itch.

Ever seen the movie "Mask" with Cher?
Why does the media continue to state Vegas is not too far from Oakland?   It's a 8.5 hour drive -- there is no easy way to get from Oakland to Vegas unless you jump on a plane.  Additionally, LA is ~4 hours to Vegas and Phoenix is a 4.5 hour drive to Vegas.   I can't see LA or Phoenix residents getting season tix to the Vegas Raiders --- not certain why certain media outlets are portraying Vegas as a central hub convenient to all Raider fans who want season tix.

These guys.  They fit the Raider profile.
