Lol, is see a few clot fans voted
This poll should have been made public. No Jaguars fan would vote D or F.

I don't know anything about Yannick or the third day picks, but love getting 65 defensive players - especially Ramsey and Jack.

If you think about it, one of our best picks this year was the pick we did not use: #146. Thank you Dallas and Baltimore.

A, easily. Spectacular. We needed a draft with almost all defense. We added 2 starters, a rotational LEO, a rotational pass rushing DT, a rotational strong side DE. And all the good franchises take or pick up a qb.
Super satisfied.

Choices should have been A+++, A++ and A+. Anything else is ridiculous. How often does 1 team get the top 2 players in the entire draft?

Anything below an A is just nitpicking and hating. Dave absolutely crushed the first 4 or 5 picks of this draft and dramatically altered the skill level of the defense.

You can nitpick and still give him an A.
Who are the trolls who graded F?

C

Ramsey excellent, but Myles depends on knee which will probably go kaboom. The Maryland de/olb is just another Ryan Davis. And last three will probably be just bench warmers, practice squad players that will eventually get cut.

I'll bet you are a riot at parties.
you can only grade it as "on paper" for now because no one knows how things will shake out... so heavy defense.. CB/S ,  LB, DE, DT, pass rushers.... so there would be know "if Myles' knee holds out" or if Ngakoue didn't pan out.....

so on paper, getting 2 of the top 3 defensive players in the entire draft... have to give it an A.

Well, there's a shocker.

Aguayo in the 2nd.....
Jack will make or break this draft class. The best 2 defensive players in the draft to 1 team is unheard of. Until Jack becomes a bust for his knee, this must be an A.

Also, i think the tack fans are hilarious. Anyone check out the Clots board? They are scared of some Jaguars...love it.

I disagree with your comment on Jack. It's the class as a whole. If he hits on 5 picks that turn into All Pros, and Fowler leads the league in sacks, then It won't matter what Jack does.
A minus and here's why:

The first two rounds were an A+. If I could give A++ I would. But it fell apart in rounds 3-7, nt because of who we picked but who we didn't.

In Round 3: Jonathan Bullard would have been a better selection because he has three down, starter potential. Same with Javon Hargrave who could be this year's Aaron Donald based on his Senior Bowl showing. I said it before: Yannick looks a lot like Jorge Cordova. Drafting a DPR is to risky for round 3; look at all the misses over the years. Even moving back to take Connor Cookwoykd have been a better option--now he's backing up Carr, clearly a BAP pick in Oakland.

In Round 4: Day is a solid pick but is he better than Andrew Billings (Tony Pauline had billings in the top 20 at one point). I'd have gone SS here: miles killebrew is ferocious, and the jags need someone who can stuff the box and take down the likes of Demarco, Derrick and the other power Backs. Do our safeties have that killer instinct?

Round 6: I'm fine with the developmental Qb; and the developmental DE from Montana. I'd have moved up a spot or two and taken a flyer on the German, or traded both picks to get into the late 5th to get Westernan...

Round 7: Woodard is probably not going to make the team. Daniel Braverman, Scooby Wright, Jeremy Cash...any of them would have been better.

I'm happy with the draft overall but rounds 3-7 were kind not in par with BAP philosophy in rounds 1 and 2...

Nice insight, however I disagree with the WORDS "fell apart"

It hardly fell apart. Our defensive line is desperate for guys that can effect the QB.

Bullard is a guy you are probably more familiar with if we are being honest.

Billings being in the top 20 and still on the board, is telling. Maybe a character flaw. We don't need guys that will be in trouble.

Westerman could have been a good pick but Henne has been our back up for too long. Maybe in 3 years we have a QB that's worth a 1st or 2nd round pick and we trade him or we have a solid back up to win us a game or 2.

We used this draft to straight bully guys in the trenches.

Be open minded....Caldwell nailed it!
Does F meaning [BLEEP] Fantastic?
Vic Ketchman nailed it when asked why Billings fell. He doesn't rush the WB, he's a run stuffer, and there is less of a premium on stuffers today. He gave the example of how billings fits the steelers scheme perfecty yet they chase Hargrove because he can penetrate. My point was that for as much as the jags need to rush the QB, with our improved secondary I think stopping the run is just as important--if not with DT than with a stud SS...

Overall though I think this is stil the best draft since '98
