Can I interject that most of the people that are for the rule of law would welcome these illegal aliens had they come to this country legally.

Do you know what it takes to come here legally?
Quote:I've seen Dakota name call way more than anyone else on this board. He uses Libtard constantly like it's some hilarious thing he created.

Others name call as well but he takes the cake.
Is that the same guy who was once a moderator on this MB?

Has the distinction of , from his own words, come from a very wealthy family.?

Yes, after all my wife did. Many nurses I used to work with did. You just need an actual skill thats in demand. And not even greatly in demand, the hotels hire tons of hospitality workers. Going to school here qualifies for an F-1 visa.

Now granted. H1B's don't grow on trees like they did in 2009. So that avenue is not as open anymore. But expecting to live in a country as an unskilled laborer just cause you 'want to' is the worst kind of entitlement. But even then, plenty of temporary farm labor visas. Not sure why people think that we should have open doors when no one else does. Even Mexico requires a $1400 dollar a month income before they let you retire there.

Not relevant.
Quote:Colorado says they're not
Just because it is legal under state law in CO doesn't make them not criminals. They are still in violation of Federal law and can be prosecuted at any time.
Here's a concept:

A country should act on their own interests and allow in people that it can benefit from having. It isn't about the benefit to the immigrant, but the benefit to the host country. You should never have to take in someone that you don't want. Instead of looking at immigration as letting everyone in but the bad ones, we should be choosy. The USA is the prettiest girl in the room, she doesn't need to date every loser just to be charitable, she's got herself to look after.

I'm tired of the USA being made into a shelter for undesirables. If we need farm workers, maybe we bring some of those in, maybe on a temporary basis... maybe we don't. I bristle at the idea that Americans will not do X job. Americans have done and will do any job if the incentive to work and not be on the dole is there. Corporations and consumers are just addicted to the fruits of the cheap labor. I'd rather pay more for goods knowing my countrymen were well paid for it.

That is irrelevant.

Complex problems rarely have simple solutions.

You most definitely have the option to buy American now.

You don't tho. Because it's a lot more expensive.

I can't remember the last time I found a television set, or cell phone that was made in the USA. I do buy american and pay more when I have the option, but I do not always have that choice.
